There won't be many presidents who can speak as effectively as Barack Hussein Obama did before the joint session of The United States Congress.
Even though our recent degeneracy has not dampened his speaking ability, our national degeneracy (not the fault of any one department of government alone, any one state, any one cause, or any one reason) will limit what he can do.
Likewise, the time in our national history when he took office has not dampened his speaking ability, but will limit what he can do.
We could work our way out of it, except that we are not what we once were; we are in decline.
We may be better off as a result of no longer being the world's beacon on the hill, and the world may be better off, but all that remains to be seen.
