Seaports With Sea Level Change - 19

What's Next?
Historically (since Pearl Harbor), seaports haven't garnered a lot of front page headlines in the newspapers.

That has changed since I began to consider seaports some years back (e.g. What Do You Mean - World Civilization?, Will This Float Your Boat?; cf. the Dredd Blog series The Extinction of Robust Sea Ports, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).

The seaports more recently, and maybe even next week (snark), are experiencing flow problems (America’s Ports Problem Is Decades in the Making, The United States has a port problem, U.S. Port Problems Reach Worst of Pandemic Amid Crush of Imports, What The Shipping Crisis Looks Like).

Those problems have occurred because of relatively minor problems of inability to envision the future, so guess what is going to happen when insurmountable problems arrive (they have already been "shipped");
