QL 09

This is an appendix to Quantum Oceanography - 15

The purpose of this appendix is to show that infrared photon activity varies in time and location in the ocean depths.

The Sizemograph prints a Seismograph type graph that represents the "ups and downs" of sea level change caused by INFRARED PHOTON MOVEMENT at 33 separate depth levels.

BUT, only three colors are used (red for the most shallow depth levels, blue for the medium depth levels, and cyan for the deepest depth levels).

Lines above the zero point ('0'), no matter what color, show thermosteric sea level rise for the depth levels represented by that color, while lines below the zero point, no matter what color, show thermosteric sea level fall for the depth levels represented by that color.

The intensity of the thermosteric sea level change is represented in millimeters multiplied by 1,000 (for better line separation).

To determine the actual amount of rise or fall in millimeters, divide the scale value by 1,000 (e.g. a scale value of 10 is: 10÷1000 = 0.01 mm).
