Minnesota Election Law Is That Bad?

Most legal experts come down on the side of the argument that the Coleman lawsuit in Minnesota that has kept the U.S. Senate diminished was based on no substantial facts:

Guy-Uriel Charles, a Duke University professor who specializes in election law, said that he had not talked to any colleagues in the legal community who had made a convincing argument that Coleman could win his appeal.

“It’s not that Coleman hasn’t raised important questions,” Charles said. “If it is true that counties are interpreting the absentee ballot rules differently because of differential resources, that’s a question the legislature should address, but I do not think that’s a question the courts could address after the fact.”

(Politico, emphasis added). Some courts call this type of scenario a non-justiciable remedy, meaning it is a problem legislatures need to remedy.

Which means that the law is defective in some way that needs repair, which a court cannot repair, because it is not the court's duty nor jurisdiction to do so.

Some blogs that claim to be election integrity leaders originally extolled the virtues of Minnesota Election Law, while Dredd Blog pointed out the flaws in that law from day one.

If all states mimicked Minnesota law the Senate, and therefore the country's government, could be shut down by a large number of close elections for senators.

We were correct from day one that such blogs should acknowledge the error of their rhetoric and the short sightedness of their advocacy.

Which Came First - Cyborg Or Robot?

This discussion takes place in the context of the acceptance of Establishment Big Bang Cosmology ("Big Bang"), but not on the acceptance of the Rebel Cosmological Counter Context ("Little Bang").

With that out of the way, note that I have discussed the subject and do conclude that our cosmological models indicate that machine forms axiomatically came before biotic forms.

That conclusion was based upon the premise that elements are machine forms rather than being biotic forms.

Elements came "soon" after the Big Bang, beginning during a period of Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN), according to current cosmological models.

Both simple and complex elements, and the molecules that result from Chemical Bonds between elements, are machine forms in the raw.

They formed the planets, stars, and galaxies which are more of the same (machine forms) only much greater in size, and they have more moving parts.

This machine form largess happened later on in the Big Bang timing sequence.

The biotic forms came much later, after planets had been formed, and after certain conditions arose on certain planets, according to the Big Bang models.

There you have it: Robots, which are machines with no biotic components, came before Cyborgs which have biotic components (Accord).

As a Senior Advisor to the President, I'm here in Cairo, Egypt where I watched President Obama deliver an unprecedented speech calling for a new beginning for the United States and Muslim communities around the world.

We all know that there has been tension between the United States and some Muslim communities. But, as the President said this morning, if all sides face the sources of tension squarely and focus on mutual interests, we can find a new way forward.

The President outlined some big goals for this new beginning in his speech -- including disrupting, dismantling, and defeating violent extremism. It was a historic speech, and since many Americans were asleep at the time it was given we wanted to make sure you had a chance to see it:

Majority-Muslim countries around the world are filled with extraordinary people who simply want to live their lives and see their children live better lives, just as in America. Indeed, part of what makes America great is having nearly seven million Muslim Americans living here today and enriching our culture and communities.

We can extend that kind of relationship abroad. It won't always be easy, but if we make an effort to bridge our differences rather than resigning ourselves to animosity, we can move toward a more peaceful world over time.

White House Prophylactics For Muslims

I represented the Bush II regime's foreign policy with the dog on cat photo in a recent post here.

It seemed to me that photo was how the world was seeing what the Bush II regime was doing in the world as Bush II said in rhetoric that he was "bringing peace and democracy" to Iraq.

The mid-east curse "may the Americans bring democracy to you" is an illustration of that perception.

There is no doubt most Americans will see President Obama's speech directed toward Muslim's as improved rhetoric coming from us.

It is improved rhetoric, because the Bush II regime rhetoric was declaring that they would nuke any nation Bush II thought needed to be nuked, even if there was no military provocation.

Everyone presumed that Bush II dogma was directed toward the Muslim world, and The Holy Warmaker In Chief catapulted that notion along with his missives to foreign leaders wherein he quoted and interpreted vague apocalyptic Bible verses as justification for his holy wars, which he believed would improve the world.

But improving our rhetoric can hardly be a panacea or policy basis for any improvement in real world conditions with Muslims, at least in the bloody and dark wake of the past Bush II ship of state.

Even the republicans are attempting to improve their rhetoric these days, which signals to everyone that political rhetoric is just another way to lie.

The world would be encouraged if we did not spend more on the military each year than all the other nations added up spend by $123,000,000,000 dollars; yes, each year if we add up the two largest nation's military spending besides us China and Russia, that sum is less than the $123,000,000,000 more than the whole world we spend each year.

Our mad, mad, mad military spending spree speaks loudly for sure; our invasions, destructions, and occupations of nations speak very loudly too.

Therefore, many are going to see this new rhetoric as a case like the rapist who, upon the request of the victim, put on a condom before raping her. It did "improve" the situation, since she was then protected from STD's.

But some improvement signals get lost in the noise; so like the rapist who later at trial said "I used a condom as she requested", the effort at improved relations will take much more than those rhetorical type gestures.

For that we will have to ask them what is good for them instead of telling them what is good for them, as they gaze up the barrel of our militarism.

If they do not want to be raped, the condom is irrelevant in the final analysis.

Tired of Light Dogma?

From time to time I tend to point out unconventional cosmological theories for your perusal.

I do it because I do not think the officialdom of establishment science can claim to have every scientific hypothesis right all of the time.

After all, hypotheses have to be revised so often that it really helps the textbook companies to prosper.

Therefore we challenge the theories from time to time to test them, and to pop any bubbles of dogma when we find them.

An interesting hypothesis suggests that space dust is the source of the red shift.

The Surge Reaches The Homeland

The surge in military suicides continues.

The military officials are only looking at the direct numbers of suicides, which is breaking another record this year, so as to attempt to minimize what they consider to be bad press; as if bad press is the big problem.

The numbers only point to the core, ignoring the almost suicides and millions of associated mental problems.

All of which will detrimentally effect the families and communities of those suffering from battle madness for years and years all around the country.

As we have pointed out, the government military oil complex run amok has destroyed the economy, destroyed our world reputation, destroyed millions of civilians, and is now self destructing from within far more than what is "normal".

They have been stretched too thin for too long for no grand reason.

Hopefully the new Secretary of the Army President Obama appointed today will help to assuage some of the catastrophic foreign policy blunders of the past decade.

Aircraft Lost As Hurricane Season Opens

As the 2009 hurricane season opened yesterday, Air France Flight 447, an Airbus A330, carrying 216 passengers and 12 crew members disappeared in the ocean where great Atlantic storms were churning.

The Atlantic storms that probably destroyed the airliner were following the path hurricanes take from east to west toward the Americas.

Some debris, evidently from that new aircraft, was found today by searchers.

Scientists have been warning us that storms and hurricanes will grow stronger, larger, and more frequent as the planet's climate changes in response to human endeavours.

Perhaps aircraft companies and the FAA should take that into consideration and steer clear of storms that they used to fly over or through.

Some estimations based on increasing evidence, is that weather was the main player in this disaster.

The pilots did not go around the storms of that day as did pilots in other aircraft in the general area.

Groundhog Election Day

The "election that should have been over last year" just keeps on going, like the ever ready bunny that is stuffed with batteries on steroids.

Some "election integrity blogs" love the Shakespearean drama, and even say this is the way elections should be done in every state.

But fortunately normal folk know when something does not pass the smell test, and this election surely does not.

The election integrity blogs, who don't yet get it, need to realize that Minnesota needs to fix its election law and process, and other states need to shy away from any similar process.

GM As Smart As A 1970's 5th Grader?

Uh oh ...

Activists in the lead-up to the 1970's energy crisis predicted long lines at gas stations, and other disruptions in the oil system of that time.

Then it happened as the activists had said.

Then Nixon tried to freeze prices.

Then even the 5th graders of the early 1970's realized it was dangerous to be so dependent on foreign nations for our energy, and that we should immediately take action to secure our nation.

The all wise government, and the all wise automobile industry of 1973, promptly increased our dependency on foreign oil, and that dependency has continued down to the present day.

The result of that "wisdom" is that now we are more dependent on other nations for our energy needs than we were then.

In the present day one of those all wise automobile companies, General Motors, set a landmark showing its glowing wisdom by filing the largest manufacturing bankruptcy in our history.

They hold out hope, with the help of the U.S. Government which is now a 60% owner, to become as smart as those 1970's vintage 5th graders.

Sorry, that is not going to happen.

Lets hope we do better with space vehicles.
