I. Recap /Update

This series is about finding the reality of COVID-19 ... in terms of finding its original host microbe located within its original animal or human vector species (On The Origin Of The Home Of COVID-19, 2, 3).

Since the coronavirus in general, or specifically the SARS coronavirus, is found in a variety of creatures on land, in the sea, and in the air, I am continuing to build datasets and programs to analyze all of those varieties.

The screen capture shown as Fig. 1 is one visual example of the ongoing analysis, while Fig. 2 below is an HTML table composed of the numerical details, some of which are depicted in Fig. 1.

The nature of Fig. 1 is that I make a list of all the bases of a sample, in this case human samples, then compare them so as to detect variations.

The table below is used to show how many matches and mismatches (genetic modulations) take place in each sample (each A,C,G,T, and U base is counted).

The "Score" column is a calculation of the degree of modulation, with '1' being a complete match (no modulation), and anything above one being some degree of modulation (or morph).

The higher the number of the Score means a higher modulation between the two samples (each layer is compared to the first layer).

III. Closing Comments

This series will last a long time, but will be sandwiched between other posts.

The long duration is because the data available poses a daunting task in terms of processing it, but mostly because of the difficulty of analyzing it.
