Who Has The Most Rights

I. The Feckless Minority?
Can you detect the cognitive snoring of the cultural Amygdala (Hypothesis: The Cultural Amygdala, 2, 3, 4, 5)?

That unique snoring is emanating from within the corporate mass-media and the "my precious" media within it (Blind Willie McTell News, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

It is masking itself with the sound of "crickets" enhanced by decades of giggles emanating from the ignorati (Agnotology: The Surge, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20).

I am talking about the breaking national snooze brought to you by the advertising dollars invested in the unbounded corporate media by the unbounded trances of the corporate greed machine (Choose Your Trances Carefully, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

In times past corporate trances were seen as a "second nature" composed of deceit (The Deceit Business).

II. The Feckless Majority?

But if you have ears to hear the sounds of "that something" approaching, it is an unmistakable yet overlooked set of events that have made history for eons.

That something is the dementia that produces and ends up in suicide:

"In other words, a society does not ever die 'from natural causes', but always dies from suicide or murder --- and nearly always from the former, as this chapter has shown."

(A Study of History, by Arnold J. Toynbee). There is no cure for the final symptom of that group dementia, there is only prevention by way of avoiding it altogether in the first place.

The components of that group dementia were pointed out in an encyclopedia piece concerning that historian quoted above:

"In the Study Toynbee examined the rise and fall of 26 civilizations in the course of human history, and he concluded that they rose by responding successfully to challenges under the leadership of creative minorities composed of elite leaders. Civilizations declined when their leaders stopped responding creatively, and the civilizations then sank owing to the sins of nationalism, militarism, and the tyranny of a despotic minority . "

(Encyclopedia Britannica, emphasis added). The show stopper, in terms of remedy, in this type of group dementia is that it is a contagious dementia.

(How To Identify The Despotic Minority). We know off the top of our heads what nationalism and militarism are, but I think tyranny is so camouflaged in our culture that its loud presence is not so easy to see, smell, hear, taste, and feel:

tyranny (n.) late 14c., "cruel or unjust use of power"

tyrannize (v.) "rule despotically or cruelly"

tyrant (n.) c. 1300, "absolute ruler, especially one without legal right; cruel, oppressive ruler"

Even as the cruelty (to the workers who provide coastal guards, aviation safety, food safety, and many other protections) is out in plain sight, as a culture we do not yet see it as the tyranny of a despotic minority.

Is it merely "debate" or "democracy at work" or "the shining city on a hill" ... or is it plain and simple tyranny?

If it quacks like a duck, swims like a duck, and flies like a duck it is a duck.

If it is "cruel or unjust use of power" by a tiny minority of a few ("absolute ruler, especially one without legal right; cruel, oppressive ruler") it is the tyranny of a despotic minority.

And it is a loud and clear message that yet another civilization is putting the cyanide in the kool aid.

III. What Is Not Being Explained

In the first two posts of this series I fingered Witch McConnell, who is the dicktator of the feckless senate, and "his precious" the other dicktator (The Shapeshifters of Bullshitistan, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17).

The long and short of it is that the two dicktators of the Whut? House  and the Whut? Senate are reproducing their power illegitimately (The Virgin MOMCOM - 2).

The illigitimacy can spread all the way to yet another civilization (Western Civilization) if we refuse to acknowledge what history is whispering to us:

"In other words, a society does not ever die 'from natural causes', but always dies from suicide or murder --- and nearly always from the former, as this chapter has shown."

(A Study of History, supra). I am sure that the despotic minorities of those civilizations thought that they were the saviors ("destroying it in order to save it") as they do in our current civilization (MOMCOM's Mass Suicide & Murder Pact - 3).

Britain's Brexit and the USA's duh wall are merely symptoms of a much larger Agnotology problem.

IV. Conclusion

Remember that all of the history of those 26 civilizations was written in advance but not enough people heard the sounds, not enough people smelled the scent, and not enough people saw the approach of the coming history.
