In these graphs, the
Buoyancy Factor relates to the difference between the density of the plume and the density of the ambient ocean water. The
Specific Enthalpy applies only to the ambient ocean water. The
Conservative Temperature (CT) and
Absolute Salinity (SA) are computed values of both the ocean water and the plume itself at three depth layers.
