Yes, a better phrase for it might be "global weirding." Many results of climate change will be counterintuitive. For instance, last January there was a particularly warm blast of air across the Great Lakes; and since warmer air holds more moisture, this created a tremendous snowfall, setting some records in the northeast.
The Earth got hotter, so it snowed. Yet the denialiststs leapt on the weather news as "proof" global warming is a hoax.
