This series has not been written for the tree huggers, polar bear huggers, or the like (The TH).

It has been written for the container ship huggers, the flag huggers, and the like (The CH).

II. The Common Bond

The "common bond" between The TH and The CH is that what they hug is going extinct.

The "distinction" between The TH and The CH is that The CH created their own extinction scenario while making fun of The TH extinction scenario.

There isn't much to review about The TH because they have been made famous by the trolling done on them by The CH, however, some readers will need to become more acquainted with the world of The CH.

III. Closing Comments

Most of the top ten are in only a few WOD Zones that are not far apart, and in fact they even border one another in some cases.

That means a common area impacted by the same SLC dynamics.

  1. Port Authorities that oversee older ports indicate that a about a 1 m SLR will bring them to their knees. I guess one thing to consider is when the ports were built. Another is how does one big port going down stress the rest of them. Or two or three?

"Hanjin Shipping's dissolution was the largest and most significant bankruptcy in the container transport industry and it caused worldwide supply chain and shipping disruption as cargo ships were left stuck at ports and canals waiting for cash payments. Hanjin's bankruptcy created a massive ripple effect. Other businesses that rely on physical products found themselves without the expected revenue from inventory that became stuck at sea. Hanjin's abrupt cave-in occurred at an especially inconvenient time for retailers furnishing their inventories with imported items in preparation for a seasonal uptick in Thanksgiving, Christmas, Black Friday, and New Year's sales.
