The Homeland: Big Brother Plutonomy - 8

You can peacefully assemble elsewhere
The home of the brave and the land of the free is still becoming the home of the knave and the land of the wee.

Anymore, when one sees a group of jackbooted storm troopers, it is difficult to figure out who they are assaulting.

Since they assault those who owe money on student loans, and they assault people who want to withdraw their money from banks that have become casinos, one can't tell if they are Keystone Kops suffering from dementia, and perhaps thinking that they are in Kabul or Baghdad.

Like the cold GOP led House Republicans' response to Hurricane Sandy, documentation of the federal government's response to the Occupy movement, a group composed of the poor, homeless, students, and other Americans, shows they were assaulted in mass by Homeland Big Brother:
New documents prove what was once dismissed as paranoid fantasy: totally integrated corporate-state repression of dissent

It was more sophisticated than we had imagined: new documents show that the violent crackdown on Occupy last fall – so mystifying at the time – was not just coordinated at the level of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and local police. The crackdown, which involved, as you may recall, violent arrests, group disruption, canister missiles to the skulls of protesters, people held in handcuffs so tight they were injured, people held in bondage till they were forced to wet or soil themselves – was coordinated with the big banks themselves.
(FBI & Oppression Corps, emphasis added). Those who gambled criminally with the treasury, and were bailed out, helped orchestrate the oppression of their victims.

Read more about the machinations of these criminals in the series Banker Jekyll Will Hyde Your Money through Banker Jekyll Will Hyde Your Money - 9.

In the first post of this series regular readers here on Dredd Blog read about the way the military plans to become involved if the people recoil too harshly to Big Brother Banks that are taking their hard earned money from the public:
A new report by the U.S. Army War College talks about the possibility of Pentagon resources and troops being used should the economic crisis lead to civil unrest, such as protests against businesses and government or runs on beleaguered banks.

“Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” said the War College report.

The study says economic collapse, terrorism and loss of legal order are among possible domestic shocks that might require military action within the U.S.
(The Homeland: Big Brother Plutonomy, see also Will The Military Become The Police). It is likely that some of you thought Dredd Blog was kidding or overreacting.

But what makes "sense" of this unAmerican behavior on the part of rabid authoritarians, is the fact that those who control the banks here are actually international corporations that like to remind us that they are "not an Amercian company", which is well documented:
A University of Zurich study 'proves' that a small group of companies - mainly banks - wields huge power over the global economy.

The study is the first to look at all 43,060 transnational corporations and the web of ownership between them - and created a 'map' of 1,318 companies at the heart of the global economy.

The study found that 147 companies formed a 'super entity' within this, controlling 40 per cent of its wealth. All own part or all of one another. Most are banks - the top 20 includes Barclays and Goldman Sachs. [Bank of America is in the top 25]
(MOMCOM: The Private Parts - 3, emphasis added). There you go regular readers, you already knew, but today we find out how organized the aliens are, and that they intend to tighten the screws of your oppression even more.
