| World's Largest Desert |
This series is about being ahead of or behind the curve concerning the ongoing conversion of ice-to-water in the largest desert on Earth (Antarctica 2.0, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 [& supplements A, B, C, D, E, F], 7, 8, 9, 10, 11).
In the previous post of this series, as usual Dredd Blog was ahead of the musings of the maddening crowd (Antarctica 2.0 - 11).
It has been a short amount of time since that post, yet events on the largest desert on Earth are still accelerating at a speed that has denialists working overtime to deny it means anything (e.g NYTimes, AP, The Hill, Daily Mail, Woods Hole, Daily Beast).
Its main warmth, as Dredd Blog has been pointing out, is in the water touching the grounding line deep under the surface of the ocean all around the entirety of Antarctica (The Ghost Plumes, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15).
The above sea surface is also warming (How this month produced a mind-boggling warm-up in eastern Antarctica and the Arctic).
The reality is more than the mass media and their follower deniers can handle, as this series has pointed out:
