"The Beginning is near"

Fear to depart from the status quo happens when there is either an end or a beginning that would change things.

That a beginning or an ending is near is not in and of itself a bad thing.

The thing itself that is about to begin or to end is the good or bad thing.

"Time keeps on slippin' into the future" no matter what fears we do have or we do not have as the song points out ("Fly Like an Eagle, Steve Miller Band").

Fighting Terrorism For 200 Years - 5

This series began with a Dredd Blog post that was taking a look at, was focusing on, and was journalistically noticing a certain media story about some frat brats in a Yale Fraternity (@ YaleU).

The catchy part that started it, that had piqued the reporter's curiosity, involved the Grand Nagus who walked among those frat brats with authority.

A supreme Grand Nagus who had hypothesized that it would be a venerable idea for the Skull & Bones Skulk & Boners to ritualistically go all the way (The War Whores Ride The War Horse) to Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Once there, the frats would steal one more good time.

A very good time would be had by all who would go there, because certain locations at or near Fort Sill are a special place for certain groups within the Native American culture.

One location especially, because the bones of Geronimo rest there (Fighting Terrorism For 200 Years).

Geronimo's Bones that were resting in a grave of course, which the young frats dug up and absconded with, then transported to Yale University.

Where they then placed those Bones of Geronimo into common containers.

They then stored them within buildings housing the Skull & Bones fraternity of Yale.

Eventually forcing the descendants of Geronimo to file a lawsuit asking "is it ever too late to get some justice?"

According to the court that litigated the case, the answer so far is "don't ask, we won't tell":

Geronimo's descendants have sued Skull and Bones _ the secret society at Yale University linked to presidents and other powerful figures _ claiming that its members stole the remains of the legendary Apache leader decades ago and have kept them ever since.
...
And, as far as the secret society is concerned, U.S. District Judge Richard Roberts held that the law under which Skull and Bones was sued, the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, only applies to grave robberies that took place after its enactment in 1990.

At least when it comes to making sense of it.

In the previous post of this series Dredd Blog quoted members of the 9/11 Commission, and others, who said that Saudi Arabia funded 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers.

Those officials also said that the federal government is, and has been for ten years or so, covering that reality up.

The media, i.e. Hardball and Morning Joe on MSNBC, carried the story, which is noteworthy on its own (see videos below).

A perplexing mystery was also asserted, in that they came to the conclusion that the ongoing cover-up was and is due to our addiction to Saudi Arabian oil (see videos below); a perplexing mystery that is in effect the practice of crimes hidden in plain sight:

Whoever provides material support or resources or conceals or disguises the nature, location, source or ownership of material support or resources, knowing or intending that they are to be used in preparation for, or in carrying out, a violation of [various criminal statutes] . . . shall be . . . imprisoned for not more than 15 years.

18 U.S.C. § 2339A(a).

(Hedges v. Obama, 5/16/12, pg. 11-12). It is a crime for members of the government to cover up Saudi Arabia's involvement in 9/11 because of our addiction to oil:

The MSNBC videos at the bottom of this post contain, first, discussions of the case between Chris Matthews of Hardball, ex-CIA agent Baer, and NY Times investigative reporter Lichtblau.

They discuss the sworn testimony of two U.S. Senators, one of whom was a commissioner on the 9/11 Commission, the other was the chairman of the Joint Congressional Committee overseeing the 9/11 issues.

Chris Matthews asks CIA agent Baer why the U.S. government did not go after Saudi Arabia back then, and why they still are not doing so now.

Agent Baer replied that it is because we needed Saudi Arabia to be on our side in the Iraq war then, they had big oil then, and still have big oil now.

U.S. Mythology Trance - Military Justice - 2

The Obama Administration wanted to try an alleged 911 hijacker in a federal district court in New York.

Right-wing operatives made a big stink out of it saying it would threaten national security, cause traffic jams, and yada, yada, yada.

A trial in a federal court would have allowed, among other things, evidence, defense, and argument of selective prosecution that is being argued in another case.

The essence of that civil case is that the Bush II administration knew that Saudi Arabia financed 15 of the 19 hijackers on 911:

A Saudi Arabian accused of associating with several of the September 11 hijackers and who disappeared from his home in the United States a few weeks before the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon, is in London working for his country’s state oil company.

Abdulaziz al-Hijji and his wife Anoud left three cars at their luxurious home in a gated community in Sarasota, Florida — one of them new — and flew to Saudi Arabia in August 2001. The refrigerator was full of food; furniture and clothing were left behind; and the swimming pool water was still circulating.

Security records of cars passing through a checkpoint at the Prestancia gated community indicated that Mr al-Hijji’s home, 4224 Escondito Circle, had been visited a number of times by Mohamed Atta, the leader of the 19-strong hijack team, who piloted American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Centre in 2001.

The logs also indicated that Marwan Al-Shehhi, who crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower, and Ziad Jarrah, who was at the controls of United Airlines Flight 93 when it crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, had visited the house.

All three men had trained to fly at Venice Airport, which is 19 miles from Sarasota.

MOMCOM's little helper, the Bush II regime knew that innocent people were imprisoned at GITMO.

They were afraid it would be bad for catapulting the propaganda if they failed to cover up the fact they were torturing innocent people.

Dredd Blog posts going back a while have wondered at the barbarianism of the Bush II regime, and of the seeming inability of the Obama administration to do anything differently, even though Obama has expressed a willingness to do so.

Accusations are being revealed in Britain, by former Bush II regime members, that the barbarian injustices were widely known during the Bush II regime:

The allegations were made in a document by Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, once chief of staff to Bush's first secretary of state, Colin Powell, in a lawsuit filed by a former Guantanamo inmate and published by The Times in London.

Colonel Wilkerson alleged Bush's vice-president, Dick Cheney, and defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld knew most detainees held at the US detention camp in 2002 were innocent but believed it was "politically impossible to release them".

They were also keen to avoid revealing the "incredibly confused" detention operation, Colonel Wilkerson said, claiming prisoners were often rounded up by Afghan and Pakistani forces in return for cash, with little or no evidence as to why.

He alleged then-vice-president Cheney "had absolutely no concern that the vast majority of Guantanamo detainees were innocent ... If hundreds of innocent individuals had to suffer in order to detain a handful of hardcore terrorists, so be it."

(Herald Sun, emphasis added). Now we know why they do not want to try them in federal court where this will all be revealed, or at least much more difficult for MOMCOM to cover up any longer.

The MOMCOM "courts" will do a better job of covering up the torture of innocent victims tortured by the Bush II evil masters, but at what cost to the reputation of the American people?

This is another one of the costs of war that should pop the mythology that wars are free.

One's reputation is one's most valuable asset in has been said, but the U.S. reputation has been ruined by "the pew, the loud, the latrines".

In the first post of this series we touched upon a case where the descendants of Geronimo have been terrorized for many years by grave robbers, of the robber baron sort, at a "decent" university.

The photo of Johnny Depp (left), as Tonto in the movie "The Lone Ranger", still being filmed, may capture how the Native Americans feel about frat boys toying with the remains of their ancestors after having terrorized Native Americans.

It was Noam Chomsky who said "terrorism is what other nations do", meaning the government of the U.S.eh? calls terrorism something else when they do it to others.

It has come to light that the government of the U.S.eh? may also not be willing to do anything about Saudi Arabian terrorism either.

At least that is the case if one gives credence to multi-district litigation taking place in the federal district court in Manhattan, concerning the 9/11 attacks, accusing Saudi Arabia of bankrolling that terrorism.

Saudi Arabia is being sued for taking part in 9/11 by various insurance companies, the estate of a high ranking FBI agent, and family members who say Saudi Arabia conspired to kill their relatives on 9/11/01.

The MSNBC videos at the bottom of this post contain, first, discussions of the case between Chris Matthews of Hardball, ex-CIA agent Baer, and NY Times investigative reporter Lichtblau.

Did you notice that there is a problem with Baer's comments in response to Matthew's question, about why the Saudi's were hurriedly spirited out of the United States on 9/11?

Baer says Saudi's were allowed to fly their planes out of the U.S. (when all U.S. civilian aircraft were grounded) on 9/11/01, because we needed Saudi Arabia as an ally in the Iraq war, plus they have oil that we needed then and still need now.

The problem with Baer's attempted explanation is that, for quite a while after 9/11, the Bush II regime said they had not made up their "minds" about whether or not Iraq was involved in 9/11, in the sense of whether or not Iraq would be invaded.

So, is Baer saying that the Bush II administration was lying about Iraq, i.e., is he saying that they had their minds made up to invade Iraq on or before 9/11?

Be that as it may, others, including Richard Clarke and General Wesley Clark have said that an invasion of several nations, including Iraq, had been planned before 2001, by oil barons wanting Iraqi oil.

Iraq was invaded in March of 2003, ~2.5 years after the Saudi's were protected on 9/11/01, so as to keep them as allies, even though they were conspirators in 9/11?

The discussions on Morning Joe reflect the same general flow, which really boils down to:

The U.S. government allows its citizens to be killed en masse by foreigners, without repercussions so long as the country doing it has more oil than any other terrorist country involved?

It is not like it would be hard to find the Saudi agent who got money from the Saudi Embassy, then gave it to two of the hijackers in San Diego, nor would it be hard to locate the Sarasota, Florida, Saudi Agent:

(Telegraph, 2-18-2012). No, logistics has nothing to do with it, because it looks more like a cover-up than anything else, to this blogger anyway.

The federal government is asking the federal court in Manhattan to dismiss the case against Saudi Arabia, no matter what victims of the attack think.

The U.S. Department of Just Us says it wants the case against Saudi Arabia dismissed because Saudi Arabia is a sovereign nation that is immune, even if they are guilty.

Besides, they have lots of oil and the Saudi King held hands with Bush II (which renders 3,000 American deaths on 9/11 irrelevant?).

Why Trial By Jury? - 2

Almost three years ago Dredd Blog did a piece on the reason for the requirement of juries in our Constitution.

In that post we pointed out that the jury specification includes the requirement that a grand jury must be used to ponder the validity of government assertions of criminality, a requirement for a trial by petite jury, if criminal charges are brought by a grand jury, then finally in non-criminal cases involving civil matters over money or property, our Constitution requires a petite civil jury.

That Dredd Blog post was moved to the Toxins of Power blog because, as explained in that post, one of the reasons for jury involvement in our legal system is the notion that power corrupts:

Once the grand jury returns an indictment, still another petite jury must be convinced unanimously and beyond a reasonable doubt that the individual who was charged is in fact to be held accountable for those charges. And the person charged need not say a single word. The prosecutor carries the entire burden to prove it. Is that fair? No. But it is safe.

Let us look at some abstract examples. In the courts during trials experts are used. In the typical case experts will give their opinions to the jury. Typically this means an opposite opinion for each side. The experts are sworn in, list their degrees, and the court makes a ruling that they are experts.

Afterwards those experts explain that they looked at the evidence, and then they tell the jury what their opinion is. The expert for the defense has one opinion, but the expert for the prosecutor typically has another and different opinion. On the exact same evidence I should add.

Finally, the everyday folk on the jury make the decision as to which expert was right and who was telling the truth! Yes, the person who left the farm after a 5:00 AM breakfast, and then drove the truck into town for that day's jury duty, decides which rocket scientist had it right.

If you are still wondering why this is so, remember that the foundation of jury theory is that the people can determine facts better or more accurately than those immersed in governmental power can. By “better or more accurately" I mean in the context of the effects that governmental power has on individuals.

We have found that historically, by and large, the people tend not to oppress their fellow citizens like governmental agents have tended to do. The old saying that “power tends to corrupt and absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely" is directed at governments. It is not directed at juries of the people.

Juries are the people's reaction to the oppression of tyrants who have inebriated themselves with the toxins active within governmental power.

Oh to be sure juries make mistakes. But the mistakes of the people are much easier to live with over the long run than the mistakes of government.

So say the sages of the ages.

(Why Trial By Jury?). The work of a jury is not always easy, for one reason because experts often disagree on the same set of facts.

In yesterday's post, The Memes of Penrose - 3, I discussed the fact that the experts who disagree can even be top experts in a given field.

The video at the end of today's post shows why a grand jury, then a petite jury, should be used to determine the ongoing expert disagreements concerning many 9/11 controversies.

The Memes of Penrose - 3

In the previous post in this series we noted that the dogma, ideology, and the science of the world of quantum mechanics, below a certain line or level, is said to be chaotic in a way that scientist Dr. Roger Penrose says does not make sense. One Dr. Lynn Margulis (video) noticed the same thing with some evolutionary dogma, ideology, and science, then went on to cause quite a stir in the world of microbiology, the science that deals with the microscopic underworld. Brits like Dr. Penrose and Americans like Dr. L. Margulis are resourceful people, always questioning the world around them from many viewpoints. Then there are those who are called "fringe thinkers" who do not have the credentials of Dr. Penrose or Dr. Margulis, yet they also think that a lot of establishment science does not make sense:

Many people enjoy doing physics, and the vast majority of them work as professional scientists. Margaret Wertheim’s Physics on the Fringe, however, is about the minority, those who devote a significant portion of their lives to investigating the structure of the universe at their kitchen tables while their families sleep. These individuals (those she discusses are, with one exception, all men) did not train as scientists and then fail to find employment in their chosen field. And they are not amateurs who study physics textbooks and read scholarly journals. They are at the fringe, a place most of us ignore completely.

(Fringe Science, American Scientist). Then there are "those" who have some establishment folk running around in circles, trying to figure out where "those" fit. For example, consider Dr. Steve Pieczenik:

Pieczenik was deputy assistant secretary of state under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance and James Baker. His expertise includes foreign policy, international crisis management and psychological warfare. He served the presidential administrations of Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush in the capacity of deputy assistant secretary ... On May 3, 2011 ... Pieczenik claimed that Osama Bin Laden had died of Marfan syndrome in 2001 shortly after the 9/11 attacks, and that the attacks on the United States on 9/11 were part of a false flag operation ...

(Wikipedia, emphasis added, cf. PQ911). It is interesting that Dr. Margulis (considered a scientific heretic, for many years, later to be proven correct as to her revolutionary scientific papers, finally to be accepted by mainstream science, then given coveted awards) also said that the official government conspiracy theory is false. These are very competent people, who the government must try to paint as "conspiracy theorists" (through their lackey, McTell News), or else give in to criticism. If they give in to the criticism, then they must do the first criminal investigation of 9/11, which was the largest crime ever committed on American soil, without there ever having been a formal criminal prosecution of that crime (Grand Jury, Charges, Trials). A long video is available here, showing Dr. Niels Harrit, a University Professor of Chemistry, experiencing an attempted character assassination hit on him by McTell News. The McTell News does not want you to know that thousands of professionals, as well as hundreds of millions of people, at home and abroad, do not believe the government's conspiracy theory. They favor, instead, the memes of Penrose.

The notion of State Crimes Against Democracy was the foundational reason for the Declaration of Independence as well as the later Constitution of The United States.

The declaration was a diagnosis of a mental problem the government of England had developed.

The soon-to-follow Constitution was the original effort at a cure for the governmental sickness that had grown to the point of abusing the populace by denying civil rights, while at the same time exhibiting an imperialistic empire mentality toward the rest of the world.

It had gotten so bad, in the England that our forefathers left, that the law there had become "the King can do no wrong" (see also post explaining another myth "the Queen has no legs" here).

That mentality is manifesting itself within the United States following 9/11, and will continue to be spread by the main stream media, a lackey of concentrated power, unless and until the subject of State Crimes Against Democracy (SCAD) is well understood:

The first step toward SCAD detection and prevention is facing up to the nature and magnitude of the threat. Recently, many mainstream scholars and journalists have concluded that American democracy is becoming increasingly corporatist, imperialistic, and undemocratic ...

However, mainstream authors have seldom considered the possibility that authoritarian tendencies in American politics are being systematically engineered by top-ranking civilian and military officials. Rather than thinking in terms of high crimes, their diagnoses have blamed abstract institutional weaknesses or isolated failures of leadership.

In contrast, the upshot of the foregoing analysis is that SCADs are surface indications of a deeper, invisible level of politics ... in which officials at the highest levels of government use deception, conspiracy, and violence to shape national policies and priorities.

(State Crimes Against Democracy, quoting American Behavioral Scientists, February 2011, Vol. 53, No. 6, page 818). Concerning 9/11 and the official Bush II Commission's report, journalists and scholars have not been properly focused:

The ellipses of due diligence riddling the official account of the 9/11 incidents continue being ignored by scholars of policy and public administration. This article introduces intellectual context for examining the policy heuristic "State Crimes Against Democracy" (SCAD) (deHaven-Smith, 2006) and its usefulness for better understanding patterns of state criminality of which no extant policy analytic model gives adequate account.This article then introduces papers included in this symposium examining the chimerical presence and perfidious legacy of state criminality against democracy.

(SCADs of Inblot Denial, quoting American Behavioral Scientists). The American rebellion was against the behavior of an imperialistic king who was generating what behavioral scientists call Ruling Group Mind:

There are various architects and engineers who travel around the world to talk about, for example, what happened to "Building 7" (a.k.a. "Building What?"), on 9/11/01.

They often mention that an extremely high percentage of professionals in their discipline, who when confronted with the evidence these engineers offer, change their minds.

Most main stream U.S. media journalists think it is wrong to even ask certain questions about the Bush II Commission that prepared the "official" 9/11 conspiracy theory and report.

That official report tells a story about planners in Afghani caves who together with 19 mostly Saudi Arabian men conspired together (the very definition of conspiracy theory) to damage the Pentagon as well as destroy two buildings in Manhattan, N.Y. in 2001.

But millions of questioning citizens, including members of the Commission itself, do not rely on that report alone, because too many experts have stated on the record that the Bush II Commission made colossal omissions following their short investigation which produced a technical report that also contains obvious mistakes:

In 2006, The Washington Post reported ... "Suspicion of wrongdoing ran so deep that the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation, according to several commission sources. Staff members and some commissioners thought that e-mails and other evidence provided enough probable cause to believe that military and aviation officials violated the law by making false statements to Congress and to the commission ..."

(Salem News, emphasis added; Washington Post). Unfair mainstream U.S. journalists tend to give "equal time" to every story under the sun, except the version presented by architects, engineers, and others who raise science based counter points to support their analysis.

We have pointed out, by quoting psychologists, sociologists, and professionals in related disciplines who have analyzed this behavior of U.S. journalists, and who have thereafter concluded that the 9/11 denial by U.S. journalists is a danger to the security of the populace, because it abandons the purpose of the fourth estate, better known as the free press (see here, here, here, here, and here).

Journalists in other nations, who lost people on 9/11 too, are more open minded, so they tend to be able to cover both sides of the story more freely and fearlessly.

Nevertheless, some U.S. journalists will present the news about the skeptical architects, engineers, and others who have amassed challenges to the Bush II Commission's report:

Fear is known to have the capacity to paralyze the mind to such a degree that it cannot function in an unbiased manner.

In yesterday's post the architect Les Young explained that their only concern is to find out the truth of how the buildings, WTC-1, WTC-2, and WTC-7, on 9/11/01 came down, not to determine who did it.

That requires an independent professional Commission, unlike the original committee.

That new group composition needs to include an independent professional fire and explosives investigation team.

Who did the activities that brought the three skyscrapers down is for another type of authority, a team of detectives, to determine.

The Keystone Complex To The Rescue - 5

A mysto missile fired close to Los Angeles, where millions of people were within range to see it, caused no elevation of alarm.

At least no official worry from the government "Department of Homeless Land Insecurity" (a.k.a. The Keystone Complex) that evidently considers a missile firing near a large population unworthy of serious mention.

But take the case where a kid does a drawing of a teacher, with ominous lead marks in the works, now that is a case where we really, really need to "touch the sign" and put up terrorist danger warnings.

The "Department of Homeless Land Insecurity" is an enigma wrapped up in a mystery, in other words, an earmark heaven.

Well, at least compared to what some in the know had to say about the mysto missile launch:

A mysterious missile launch off the southern California coast was caught by CBS affiliate KCBS's cameras Monday night, and officials are staying tight-lipped over the nature of the projectile.

KFMB showed video of the apparent missile to former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Robert Ellsworth, who is also a former Deputy Secretary of Defense, to get his thoughts.

"It's spectacular … It takes people's breath away," said Ellsworth, calling the projectile, "a big missile".

(Mystery Missile Launch). I imagine that if Al Qaeda or Al Gore had claimed responsibility, The Keystone Complex would have said "Our strong defenses repelled the missile, sent it far out to sea where it destroyed Osama bin Laden, and where it is no longer a threat to the American people".

Yeah, that's the ticket, move on, nothing to see here folks, we have big things to worry about ... where is Ted Kennedy anyway, he is on our "no-fly list" you know.

Expect the Department of Homeless Land Insecurity to become great and strong if the new Republican House has its way with our money.

The costs of The Department of Homeland Security have been over the top since day one, causing among other things, the Colorado Democratic Party to put a plank in their platform to call for a new grand-jury based investigation into the cause of 9/11:
