How To Identify The Despotic Minority - 10

Loyal Nuclear Power
Plant Safety Inspector
I. Power To From The People

There is an interesting and prescient novel that predicted the demise of the power of "the people's house" (The People's House).

The author has been incessantly accused of being a spy because the accuser is in the deepest of the "it can't happen here" trances (Choose Your Trances Carefully, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

In the previous post of this series I mentioned how The Despotic Minority uses not only other people's money, they also use other people's power (How To Identify The Despotic Minority - 9).

The power of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was cited in that Dredd Blog post as one whose power was being usurped and used to further the power of The Despotic Minority (ibid).

Yet, that is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

II. Power From "Loyalists"

If the dear leader of The Despotic Minority (who can now use Pelosi's power not to impeach him) does not get his demand for loyalty from Republican Senators, i.e. does not also get more power from them, he has stated publicly that he has other sources of power he will use instead:
You know, the left plays a tougher game, it’s very funny. I actually think that the people on the right are tougher, but they don’t play it tougher. OK? I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump—I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough—until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad. But the left plays it cuter and tougher. Like with all the nonsense that they do in Congress … with all this invest[igations]—that’s all they want to do is —you know, they do things that are nasty. Republicans never played this." - President Trump
(Esquire Magazine Interview). So, the police and the military are right wing institutions rather than being apolitical?

The self-proclaimed nationalist Trump was also mentioned in the "manifesto" written by the white supremacist who killed 50 innocent religionists on their day of prayer  in New Zealand:
"The gunman who allegedly killed at least 49 people in two Mosques in
Mass Murderer Does Trump Hand Gesture
 New Zealand
early Friday morning appeared to have produced a 73-page manifesto in which President Donald Trump was described as 'a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.'
(Newsweek, emphasis added). Meanwhile his associate, another Trumpster, has applied for and been granted a trademark for producing non-verifiable voting machines in China (China Gives Ivanka Trademark On Voting Machines).

Trump's quote in the Esquire piece brought to mind the statement that his ex-lawyer recently made while publicly testifying under oath before congress:
I fear that if he [Trump] loses the election in 2020, that there will never be a peaceful transition of power. And this is why I agreed to appear before you today” ...
(CNBC, quoting Cohen). Reminds me of the people taken captive in a bank robbery who ended up wanting to help and protect their captors in many ways (Stockholm Syndrome On Steroids, 2; cf. this , this, and this).

III. Closing Comments

This is not a drill.

The next post in this series is here, the previous post in this series is here.

"We spend more on national security than the rest of the world combined ... The Military is the lead federal agency on climate change ... and that is ... extremely dangerous ... we may lose the republic ..." - Professor Wilkerson in the following video.

  1. "Kathleen Belew, the author of Bring the War Home: The White Power Movement and Paramilitary America, told HuffPost that white nationalists in our armed forces pose a clear danger.

Veterans and active-duty personnel, she said, have 'played an instrumental role in moving weapons, training and tactics from military to civilian spaces' and 'dramatically escalated the impact of white power violence on civilian populations.'

  2. "Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), who has a long history of touting white nationalism, has taken his meme game to a violent new level.

The disgraced lawmaker ― who was unceremoniously stripped of all his committee assignments earlier this year for previous white nationalist rhetoric ― shared a graphic that imagined “another civil war,” this time between red and blue states.

“One side has about 8 trillion bullets, while the other side doesn’t know which bathroom to use,” states the meme, shared on one of King’s verified Facebook pages.

“Wonder who would win...” added King, apparently not noticing that his home state was actually depicted on the losing side.

There would be no winners, only losers.

    Wake up!
