ReplyDeleteTruly amazing achievement, this landing on a comet. Too bad it does nothing to help humanity out of its current extinction predicament. We're always so full of pride for our accomplishments yet we're unable to cultivate humility and practice stewardship of our home.
ReplyDeleteThe same holds true for all of our science - especially those concerned with genetics and our environment. Upon discovery of the genetic code (to a very limited extent), we were off to the races with our new toy - creating clones and playing God. Soon enough a Monsanto (and others) evolve and nature suffers with their manipulations.
Humanity has become cancerous to its host.
