"Clean Up" Is Only Done At The Bank

The photo is of the "clean up" at the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill site in Alaska.

The poison oil is thick on the beaches still, death to the environment continues still, after 21 years of MOMCOM's lying, repeating the propaganda and deceit saying that she-it "cleaned up".

With the help of the Supreme Court, which lowered the jury verdict against BP (big petroleum) by enough to bail out a bank, the Oilstate did "clean up" at the bank, but will avoid it at all costs elsewhere (e.g. Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, Texas City).

The story you should know about the photo is that it is evidence for the scientists to validly make the statement:
Boufadel says the study points out the susceptibility of beaches worldwide to long-term oil contamination, especially at higher latitudes where beaches tend to be gravel or a mixture of sand and gravel.

"As global warming is melting the ice cover and exposing the Arctic to oil exploitation and shipping through sea routes such as the Northwest Passage, the risk of oil spills on gravel beaches in high-latitude regions will be increased," the study says.
(Alaska Beaches Still Have Oil Pollution From 1989, emphasis added). On the poison-oil soaked beaches and oil-polluted waters of Alaska, where the common people used to make a living off the live ecosystem, there is a lot of anger to go along with the poison oil, the lasting finger print of MOMCOM.

Read it and weep those of you along the Redneck Riveria who are always there to be the the base of support for the MOMCOM Earth killers; you who repeat "drill baby drill" as a mantra of your enlightenment and your education (a.k.a. "indoctrination"):
And that's a large part of what I think education is — it's a form of indoctrination. You have to reconstruct a picture of the world in order to be conducive to the interests and concerns of the educated classes, and this involves a lot of self-deceit.
(GE Serves The Pentagon). Soon you folks along the Redneck Riveria will be like others who have suckled the addictive oil from the plastic breasts of MOMCOM.

BTW, she-it will be visiting your bank soon to clean up some of that green monopoly money Uncle Sam printed up just for such an occasion.

Have you heard yet that she-it needs to do some drilling in the Arctic now that she-it has melted the icecap there?

UPDATE: To show how sinister mixes with naive, one of the top environmental groups is in bed with BP ... producing alien children no doubt.

The MOMCOM children feel invincible, meaning either they are not invincible or they will destroy civilization.

  1. Canada has already made noises about claiming the northwest passages as territorial waters, claims which the rest of the world has - not surpisingly - rejected whole heartedly. It'll be interesting to see if the Canucks have any luck enforcing their claims, and, if they do, in enforcing environmental standards over corporate profits. Call me a skeptic, but I imagine corporate profits and wholesale environmental degradation will win the day once again by whatever means necessary.

Arctic exploitation will likely extend the current oil age another 25 years or so, so of course it will be exploited, but it should signal to even the most diehard of pollyannas that the end of oil and our current way of life is close at hand. Of course by that time there'll be 3 or 4 billion more people on the planet, so the need for some sort of magical rocket fuel will be more dire than ever and the environment will be harsher and more fouled as well.

In the end, our primary problem isn't even one of resource scarcity; rather, it's the age old twin problems of human greed and denial of the facts before us. The same problems that lead us into recurring financial train wrecks of now epic proportions are the same ones that will end the current cheap oil based industrial age even more disaterously. The current calls for "green" technologies will not only not fix the problems we face, but they are in fact just further symptoms of the root causes themselves. Green technologies as a means to continue the status quo will never even get off the ground. Green technologies combined with radical downsizing and restructuring of the entire global economy will not be a choice by the time it is accepted, it will be a necessity. Expect several billion dead before that happens however.

  2. That quote from Chomsky "And that's a large part of what I think education is — it's a form of indoctrination" indicates that before our society cleans up, our educational system must first be cleaned up.

That means it must be changed from an indoctrination system for U.S. exceptionalism and imperialism into a true educational system that teaches us where we are (planet Earth) and what we must do to stay here (take care of the Earth).

  3. Randy,
See the controversy over the Texas school book rewrites. Among other things, they want to refer to the slave trade as "the Atlantic Triangular Trade," they want to question whether or not the constitutional founders ever intended separation of church and state, they want "imperialism" to be referred to as "expansionism", and they want capitalism, militarism, and Christianity to be given stronger positive emphasis, especially after 1980, which as everyone knows marked the ascendance of our Lord and Savior Ronald Reagan (he was an incoherent drooling idiot even at his peak, it's positively comical to see him deified so in death) and the Mourning in America movement.

I'll say one thing for them, the insane motherfuckers are really laying it all out there with this one - no shrinking violets these goofy bastards. There's literally no insulting the dumb shits - they're parody proof! And they say there's no useful purpose for abortion...

  4. Applause lines during Valedictorian speech at a Texas high school graduation:

I want to apologize to everyone here from the bottom of my heart for appearing to be so smart. I want to ensure all of my class mates that I am not, nor will I ever be, a "liberal intellectual", and that, INDEED, I'm just as stupid as all of you are most days, and that in a class this lazy and intellectually incurious, avoiding the ignominy of being named Valedictorian was truly a hurculean task. [Wild applause!]

As you all know, I was an utter failure at sports as well - failing to even make the football team as a student manager/towel boy - so erasing the stain I have today brought upon myself, my family, my church, and my hometown will be my life's sole purpose from this day forward. I hereby renounce satanic intellectualism, and have already enlisted in the U.S.M.C. to go kill godless Arab terrorists for god, country, and corporate profits. [Thunderous applause!]

God willing, I willed be gloriously killed in that effort and ascend directly to heaven, where I will become a saint who sits at the right hand of God and Jesus Christ, ruling with divine authority over all the godless heathen fucks down here who will burn in hell for all eternity. So help me god. [Standing ovation, thunderous cheers, and women weeping!]

  5. disaffected,

I get your drift ... they need to change the definition of "brain dead" so that more medical abortions can take place in "that part of the world" (W description of New Orleans) so the republic of Texas can do abortions for their own good.

How else will they get rid of these walking abortions who feel that reading is a communist plot?

  6. Only lost aliens would not understand the nature of the planet that they live on, or that they will cease to exist if they destroy their food, water, and air supply.

On the other hand, how dumb can an earthling be before causing others to wonder if ignorant aliens are among us?
