Deja Vu All Over Again and Again

We ran the ground hog day story about Karl Rove recently.

He has repeatedly refused to show up when he has been issued a subpoena to do so.

We asserted that Rove would have to change his ways.

The time was coming when he would have to answer the subpoena or he would eventually face prosecution for contempt of congress.

We said:
Rove won't think it is funny, but he will talk either to congress or to cell mates. His choice.

And each morning Rove wakes up the same thing is going to play on the radio.

Stay tuned.
(Groundhog Day Deja Vu). He will testify under penalty of perjury, along with Meirs, at a deposition by lawyers for John Conyers, Chairman of The House Judiciary Committee.

And later if Chairman Conyers determines it fitting, he will testify in a public hearing before the committee.

  3. I just checked out Brad Blog. There was the usual big stink up emotionalism. Will Rove be under oath or not???? More of the shocking tabloidism we've come to expect from the BradBlog, a blog by a guy named Brad. And here is Dredd matter of factly telling it like it is, that the two will be testifying under penalties of perjury if they lie.

For someone not being funded by a convicted bomber, Dredd seems to do a much better job than Brad Friedman.

But wait, does Dredd have a Green Report?

Here's the new picture making the rounds.

I can read minds. This is what Brad is thinking:

I guess the election fraud thingie has run its course. How many times can we plug the Clint Curtis movie? Sure wish we had posted proof that his dog was shot. Maybe it wasn't?

It does look pretty strange that on November 10th I read about Kimberlin's $100,000 offer for election fraud proof and then two days later we started Velvet Revolution. Couldn't we have spaced things out better? And then after Curtis got in contact with the Speedway Bomber, I got the scoopage? Even I'm not buying this one. Yikes. And why'd it take so long for my handlers to diversify into the Green News Report?

Damn. I was gonna be the next Anderson Cooper but not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Check out my hot girlfriend Desi. I wonder if she knows the truth about Brett Kimberlin.

  4. socrates,

You said "Will Rove be under oath or not???? More of the shocking tabloidism we've come to expect from the BradBlog, a blog by a guy named Brad. And here is Dredd matter of factly telling it like it is, that the two will be testifying under penalties of perjury if they lie."

    You nailed it.

And lets not forget that some six boxes of documents will be turned over first, immediately, for the House lawyers to use in preparing for the deposition.

Seems like being accurate and focused is not too important for the so called progressive, so called left leaning, and so called activist blog meisters.

The fact that Rove and Meirs are going to testify under penalty of perjury, along with the bimbo, is BIG news. That documents were handed over, and that it is like most depositions in legal cases, adds to the fact that Conyers is winning now.

I expect the momentum to build in the favor of Conyers.

Note that Conyers has waived NOTHING. Conyers gave up nothing in return. Conyers still has his case where he won in the DC federal court where a judge appointed by Bush II ruled against Bush II and Rove. Rove appealed. Conyers can continue with that case if Rove plays games in the deposition.

Rove had to go back about six times (before the Fitzgerald grand jury) before they let him off the hook without an indictment.

He has to get this deposition right the first time or Conyers is going to jerk him in front of the full judiciary committee in the House. And proceed with the court case Conyers won so far.

Meanwhile the Senate judiciary committee is going to be watching and waiting their turn.

Not to mention several criminal investigations going on in the DOJ.

I sense a strong behind the scenes movement developing.

Rove playing around in the hope that cuteness will fight off the rage is not going to quench that flame.

  7. That's cool, thanks for the response. I think I just wrote a bit more on Brad and his new ventures into the Green News report. But I got to go now and make some popcorn, for I see you have a new entry on BradBlog. I love that kind of stuff. From getting acquainted a bit with DailyKos and their "state-sponsored" thought police, the term for this kind of stuff is meta.
