After the whole Copenhagen fiasco, I think its fairly clear that any serious action to combat climate change is now dead in the water for the foreseeable future. The skeptics had better pray they're right, cause I think we're rapidly reaching the point of no return, if we haven't passed it already. Given all the other more pressing in the short run issues we're already facing (and will be facing for the near term future - 10-20 years at least), I've pretty much given up on the idea that we'll do anything at all.
