The thermohaline current is slowing in the Atlantic and will have some effect on both ocean and atmospheric heat distribution and possibly weather in Europe, but the cries of "mini-Ice Age" (due to the upcoming solar minimum combined with this slow-down in circulation) are a bit far-fetched, imho.
