Bubble On Babylon

A while back there was a post on Ecocosmology Blog about the mysterious bubble galaxy recently discovered.

At about the same time there was a post here employing a theory that aliens from that bubble galaxy had settled in at MOMCOM's financial capital, Wall Street & The White House.

Bubbles have caused a lot of problems since then.

Some interviews with oil rig employees are being released which reveal what seems like a symbolic event, quite competently portraying what is happening to bubble civilization, that is, sudden unprepared for bubble events occurring unexpectedly as we celebrate our civilization.

It appears that as BP officials were onboard Deepwater Horizon celebrating the process of converting from a development well into a production well, a methane gas bubble raced up the pipe, then into a room next to the celebration, where it became exposed to raw electrical connections. Then all of a sudden the party was over:
A group of BP executives were on board the Deepwater Horizon rig celebrating the project’s safety record, according to the transcripts. Meanwhile, far below, the rig was being converted from an exploration well to a production well.
(Boston Herald). It seems that what was produced was an introduction to a burst of reality rays.

Will the resistance to reality, so manifest in government today, be able to resist the reality that is obvious to the public, especially those impacted in the Red Neck Riviera?

On another bubble front, everyone on Wall Street seems to be running around wondering about the gas bubble that worked its way out of the super computers of the stock market system Thursday, bursting into a number of realities.

As the bubble-gummers chewed, bloviated, and blew larger and larger bubbles, some binary methane worked its way up the pipe, then into the number cruncher room, where it popped the weasels a good one.

Now, one of the bubble masters from bubble central, the SEC, will "investigate" what caused the problem, leading some to exclaim "now we will never know what happened".

The bubble nature of things, including the Sun itself, really makes you wonder sometimes doesn't it?

A Tale Of Two Volcanoes

The oil volcano in the Gulf of Mexico and the Icelandic volcano have something in common.

Pressure: the pressure of oil addiction.

The Icelandic volcano had a large, thick, heavy ice sheet holding its contents down, not allowing those contents to spew into the atmosphere.

The Gulf of Mexico oil field had a large, thick, heavy ocean bottom holding its contents down, not allowing those contents to spew into the Gulf.

Then a long time ago came oil addiction along with its mantra drill baby drill.

Eventually the addiction to oil led to global warming which eventually melted the ice field sufficiently for the pressure to break through the ice field.

So the contents of the volcano deep in the earth then escaped to damage civilization.

The addiction requires more and more oil, so they punctured the sea bed and tapped into the oil reservoir which was under great pressure.

When the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig exploded and sank, the pressure was free to push the oil volcano into the precious gulf, and free to begin to damage civilization as well as the environment.

Here is a video of a section of the pipe spewing oil:

Glitch Baby Glitch?

Yesterday we had an Open Thread session concerning Deepwater Horizon and Greece's finances.

Shortly after Dredd Blog blogger "disaffected" indicated concern over the financial situation in Greece, along with the effect it could have on world markets, the stock market plunged 1000 points in less time than it takes to drink a cup of Java.

Many analysts could not figure out what was happening as millions suffered loss on 401k accounts and the like.

There was rumor of a suspicion that a broker did a typo causing a sale of 10 billion Proctor & Gamble stocks instead of 10 million, which then triggered a panic.

It reminded me of a Dylan song lyric which explains many of our financial woes:
The pump don’t work
’Cause the vandals took the handles
(Subterranean Homesick Blues, Bob Dylan). As I began to wonder how that 1000 point drop could possibly happen, I began to think about another lyric in that same song:
You don’t need a weatherman
To know which way the wind blows
(ibid). It is the Deepwater Horizon syndrome that caused a recent disaster in the Gulf, the one on Wall Street, and the one on Main Street.

The Wall Street gang members are so smug about how well their system works, using their rear view mirror technique of driving (belief that the past axiomatically dictates the future) they can't see the dangers ahead of them that are only visible when looking out the front wind shield.

One would think that software on their computers would catch and flag an entry that was orders of magnitude out of whack.

I mean the free software of this blog, and most others, immediately catches and flags misspelled words and alerts the typist to that, then to better even that, offers the correct spelling.

Are we to believe that zillion dollar software of Wall Street can't detect the difference between 10 billion and 10 million, then alert the typist?

Something like "are you sure you want to sell 1000 times more stock than what you have to sell?" might do the trick.

We don't need a weatherman to know that the Deepwater Horizon syndrome is a danger to our civilization, or that it is also avoidable.

Mad men, mad women, good men, and good women alike make mistakes, but we can do better than allowing those mistakes to cause unnecessary disasters.

The Saga of Deepwater Horizon and the graft of the Plunder Barons goes on.

It is difficult to know what really happened, but we don't need a weather man to know that neither scenario is good enough for prime time.

It is not good enough that the market recovered eventually, to limit the loss to the three hundred range, nor is it good enough that "only" a million birds and other wildlife may die if they fix Deepwater Horizon soon.

The glitchy, drilly, warster way of doing things must cease to be the standard, so meanwhile let Bob Dylan finish this thread:
I’m on the pavement
Thinking about the government
(ibid) ... with the Subterranean Homesick Blues, and like many of us, I have "gone to look for America" (Simon & Garfunkle).

Will The Military Become The Police? - 2

The first post in this series did not go into detail about the case Lockett v New Orleans.

This post will ask some questions from the details of the case that are designed to add emphasis to the point being made.

MOMCOM is more powerful within the nation than you think, and intends to become much more so.

Those who did read the first post would have noticed the fact that soldiers were doing the work of the police in July of 2008, while Hurricane Katrina, the "excuse" for violating posse comitatus, happened in 2005.

Three years after that hurricane, after years of the news reporting that the emergency is over, why are there still soldiers doing police work?

How well were they doing? Mr. Lockett's version of the facts were:
Lockett also called the emergency number 911, reported that the military police officers had made racial slurs, and requested that NOPD officers be dispatched to the scene. He also called his wife Melanie and requested her assistance at the scene. At about this time, Arceneaux frisked Lockett. A SUNO police officer, Joseph Thomas, stopped at the scene and Lockett complained to Thomas that he was being treated in a hostile and racist manner.

...

By that time, Lockett’s wife Melanie had arrived and witnessed her husband being placed in handcuffs ... [the soldiers] placed Lockett in the military police vehicle.
(Lockett). The narrative goes on to say Mr. Lockett sued for injuries and for false arrest, which did not impress the judicial system:
Lockett contends that the district court erred in finding that the defendants were entitled to qualified immunity with respect to his claim of false arrest. As set forth below, because there is no genuine issue of material fact as to whether the defendants had probable cause to believe that Lockett was driving in violation of the speed limit, his arrest does not violate the Fourth Amendment. The district court therefore properly afforded the defendants qualified immunity regarding his claim of false arrest.

The doctrine of qualified immunity shields government officials “from liability for civil damages insofar as their conduct does not violate clearly established statutory or constitutional rights ..."
(ibid, emphasis added). Soldiers doing traffic stops during which they hurt and insult citizens are now called "government officials" and they have "immunity" from accountability.

Accountability is an ancient notion in this nation that has become extinct, along with a lot of other democratic principles, having been blotted out by "doctrine".

Mr. Lockett was on the way to democracy school when this event happened to our nation.

Will The Military Become The Police?

Will the real Uncle Sam please stand up ...
Your immediate reaction to the title of this post is probably "only a crack pot conspiracy theorist would think that could happen in the United States."

Which would be a very healthy reaction, because that is the way it should be, but it would be erroneous because that is the law now.

Today, in Lockett v New Orleans, a case on appeal to the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals from a federal district court, some shocking statements are made.

But even more shocking is what is not said in the case, either by the court, or by the litigants:
In July of 2008, Lockett was driving in his vehicle to a class at the Southern University of New Orleans (SUNO). At the same time, two military police officers, Jonathan Bieber and Brandt Arceneaux, were conducting patrol in the area as members of the National Guard Task Force assisting the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) with law enforcement duties pursuant to an order issued by Governor Jindal after Hurricane Katrina. Bieber and Arceneaux observed Lockett’s vehicle and believed it to be traveling over the speed limit. Based on this observation, the defendants effectuated a traffic stop of Lockett.
(Lockett, [PDF version], emphasis added). The lawsuit was filed because Mr. Lockett said the soldiers made racial statements and hurt him.

None of the people involved in this case, the federal district court judge, the appellate judges, nor the litigants saw anything wrong with this picture except that the soldiers were alleged to be too harsh.

Incredible!

Why?

Posse Comitatus:
Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
(18 U.S.C. § 1385). Republican ("anti big government") Governor Jindal did just that because he had ordered the military police to do the domestic police work in certain areas of his state, contrary to our traditional notions of posse comitatus.

Why didn't the litigants or the judges question this ... are we now beaten down so much that we do not question anything the government does?

Well, the posse comitatus law was changed by Bush II and his minions:
On September 26, 2006, President Bush urged Congress to consider revising federal laws so that U.S. armed forces could restore public order and enforce laws in the aftermath of a natural disaster, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

...

The President may employ the armed forces ... to ... restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition ... the President determines that ... domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order ... or [to] suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such ... a condition ... so hinders the execution of the laws ... that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law ... or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.
(Wikipedia). What Bush II did was ignore those damaged by what he had ordered the government not to do (make the levies safe), then when they became outraged at not being helped, he sent the troops to keep them under control.

But why didn't the judges or the litigants question whether the draconian big brother measures congress had authorized could constitutionally allow soldiers to give speeding tickets and arrest citizens?

Or why didn't the judges or the litigants question whether the draconian big brother measures congress had authorized the president to do would apply to governors of states?

Does it boil down to warlords of the world have become criminally insane and the populace has become criminally compliant?

Saga of Deepwater Horizon Continues

The dichotomy of the struggle for and against oil addiction, which many say is boosting global warming, goes on with a focus on the Gulf of Mexico at the moment.

Meanwhile, March was the warmest on record according to NOAA.

That will probably be denied by the groupies of Senator Inhofe who say global warming is the greatest hoax ever pulled.

Yesterday one of the three leaks was stopped at Deepwater Horizon by sawing off the end of the riser and placing a shut-off valve on the end of the pipe.

The big story concerning the Deepwater Horizon disaster, it seems to me, is the use of untested chemicals to keep the oil from reaching the surface.

That story focuses on the panic of BP and the government which is causing them to abandon normal testing of powerful chemicals before using them in sensitive ecosystems:
Testing of a new technique that involves injecting dispersants at the oil’s source - 5000’ below the surface - will require further monitoring to tell whether the sub-sea dispersants are having an effect and further analysis to ensure effects in the water column are not worse than those from oil.
(NOAA). This is a travesty showing that they were not prepared for what was clearly foreseeable.

They have not tested the hundreds of thousands of gallons of chemicals being injected at the leak sites, 5000 ft. under the surface, as well as at the surface.

They have not tested these powerful chemical agents for either short term or long term effects on the environment.

Some of those chemicals will get into the Gulf current which will carry them to the Atlantic's Gulf Stream current, which flows North East, then crosses the world wide current that can take the chemicals to other oceans.

Back To The Future Of The Real World

We dealt with the dangers to the imaginary world of the MSM of MOMCOM in the earlier post this morning.

Now back to the future of the real world.

Many people read the Ecocosmology Blog post yesterday, linked to here on Dredd Blog, pointing out many global warming events all happening to the real world now, not in the misty future.

Just one of those events spoken of in the article could cripple, damage, or cause the demise of civilization, but that particular one about the bees is not covered in the MSM of MOMCOM.

The mysterious vanishing of bee colonies over the past four years generates some numbers like this:
2,400,000 x .33 = 792,000
2,400,000 - 792,000 = 1,608,000
-------------------------------
1,608,000 x .33 = 530,640
1,608,000 - 530,640 = 1,077,360
-------------------------------
1,077,360 x .33 = 355,529
1,077,360 - 355,529 = 721,831
-------------------------------
721,831 x .33 = 238,204
721,831 - 238,204 = 483,627
-------------------------------
(ibid). The Ecocosmolgy Blog quoted scientists for percentage and number of bee colonies, which the figures above are based on.

That article said "over a third", but not how much over a third, so I stuck to 33% to be careful.

The figures above are only designed to show how far things can go in a short four years, from 2,400,000 bee colonies to only 483,627 bee colonies.

Scientists said, in the article, that they don't know why bee colony death is happening, but I suspect global pollution, including but not limited to global warming.

I also suspect the morphing of virus and larger biological organisms, induced by that environmental pollution.

There is an interesting example of one of these morphs, which is better known in the geographical region where the Winter Olympics just took place, but lets take a look:
Our evidence documents emerging hypervirulent genotypes in the United States that may expand further and provides insight into the possible molecular and geographic origins of the outbreak.
(Cryptococcus gattii, emphasis added). "Hypervirulent" is another way of saying "virulent on steroids" or "super bug", in the common vernacular.

It is pathetic, unprofessional, and bordering on the criminal for the MSM of MOMCOM to try to scare the U.S. population with The Keystone Turrissttss while ignoring an entire host of problems MOMCOM is performing which are really and truly endangering the entire U.S. population.

I swear, another name for the MSM is "liars anonymous" or "The Keystone News".

UPDATE: The honey bee is "the canary in the coal mine", so when that canary dies the miners in the mine do not all drop dead with it.

But the wise among them who flee immediately upon seeing the canary die will live longer than those who poo poo the fact of the canary dropping dead.

The same thing goes with the death of vast numbers of the honey bee population.

If civilization is destroying the honey bee, that civilization is in a mine with a poisoned atmosphere, and it is best to do something very quickly or civilization is on a path to die.

Many people will live on, but civilization will be a victim of itself.

See here and here for clarification.

The Keystone Complex To The Rescue - 2

"He say 1 and 1 and 1 is three ..."
Those who have watched episodes of the famous "Keystone Kops" know that they were a McKop organization, always trapped in the immediacy of knee-jerk reactions, but never very aware of the broader perspective.

We observed them going nuts like ants on an anthill where a large drop of rainwater fell, signalling "Danger Danger Will Smith" in a recent episode:
What can be said when a young naive boy burns his nuts off on an airplane while playing a video game in his head?

Especially when it causes the whole commercial aviation system, together with the infamous homeland security gang (disorganized into a strange meme-complex) to go nuts too?
(The Keystone Complex To The Rescue). Episode two at New York's Times Square, where a wayward Pakistani put half of a trailer park into an old SUV and, reminiscent of the song "Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town", took his SUV to New York Town.

These two failed episodes done by The Keystone Terrorists, who do not seem to be part of The Cavemen, an astute group of cavers who did 9/11, were promptly solved by the Complex.

Still, even though The Keystone Terrorists failed, they have already driven N.Y. Mayor Bloomberg back to the dark ages of the caves of Bush II, from where the mayor said "they hate us because of our freedoms", mimicking the Bush II lies.

Bloomberg said that to the country to indicate that Muslims hate us because of our freedoms.

A congressional study based upon world wide research, followed by ten days of testimony of experts, led to an utterly different conclusion:
The data presented at these hearings make it clear that people in other nations don’t “hate us because of our values”— but rather that they are disappointed with us because we aren’t always true to those values.
(Decline In U.S. Reputation, bold in original). Episode three of "The Keystone Turrisstss vs. The Keystone Kops" will be transmitted from GITMO where MOMCOM is starting a Military Court TV project.

Evidently the series is about how The Cavemen and The Keystone Turrisstss both move to the same trailer park, called South Park, near Miami's Cuban neighborhood.

They eventually meet then merge into "trailer trash" at first, but then they morph into The Moroccan Teabaggers shortly after drinking copious amounts of Budweiser.

The Keystone Kops eventually surround the South Park trailer park, where they astutely cut off the gas and electricity.

Glory be, The Moroccan Teabaggers surrender, whereupon everyone watching switches their TV back to the channel hosting a docudrama on the "afraid-of-Muslims" South Park (not the trailer park) series, where the current program is entitled "Why Don't The Moroccan Teabaggers Commit Suicide Like The Anthrax Terrorist Did?".

MOMCOM Is Criminally Insane

MOMCOM, a regular here on Dredd Blog, is a sexy, powerful, entity with global reach.

Through her members, she-it has convinced the little one that all is well while she-it is the mom.

But a read of a post today on Ecocosmology Blog is strong evidence that criminal insanity is involved:
It has been stated by several biologists that, if it were not for the honey bee pollinating plants, humans would only last 3 or 4 years as our food supply would disappear.

...

The world may be on the brink of biological disaster after news that a third of US bee colonies did not survive the winter.

Disturbing evidence that honeybees are in terminal decline has emerged from the United States where, for the fourth year in a row, more than a third of colonies have failed to survive the winter.

The decline of the country's estimated 2.4 million beehives began in 2006, when a phenomenon dubbed colony collapse disorder (CCD) led to the disappearance of hundreds of thousands of colonies. Since then more than three million colonies in the US and billions of honeybees worldwide have died and scientists are no nearer to knowing what is causing the catastrophic fall in numbers.
(Ice & Bees Gone ..., emphasis added). Upon contacting MOMCOM's lawyers I was informed that she-it is too big to fail, and too big to jail.

In closing, one of MOMCOM's lawyers said there are no human laws against what she-it is doing.

Warlords Of The One World Government

Many people are afraid of or don't like the notion of "one world government", which means one government ruling all nations.

But if you think about it a certain way, we already have one world government, the natural laws of the Earth.

In general, all species obey those natural laws of the governing authority of the Earth, except for the species homo sapien.

The meaning of the species description "homo sapien" reveals who thought up that description:
Homo sapiens (Latin: "wise man" or "knowing man"), the only extant member of the Homo genus of bipedal primates in Hominidae, the great ape family. However, in some cases the term is used to refer to any member of the genus Homo ... Humans have a highly developed brain, capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and problem solving.
(ibid). Yes, a homo sapien is responsible for the description calling homo sapiens "wise man" with a "highly developed brain ... capable of ... problem solving".

Be that as it may, the government of the Earth is a subset of the governing laws of the cosmos, which state that planets near central stars shall be destroyed by that central star during that star's evolutionary process, therefore, any species who evolve must develop space travel and migrate to a planet with a younger star if they choose to avoid extinction (e.g. Tenets of Ecocosmology).

It is also axiomatic that a species must keep their planet clean enough to keep that species alive until they accomplish competent space travel to a new home world.

Currently homo sapiens are organized into nations that want to do what they want to do, meaning that other nations can butt out of their business.

Sometimes our species sees a need to cooperate for various reasons, so we agree among or between ourselves on various issues, and publicly declare that agreement.

The United Nations is one such attempt to generate a consensus on as many issues as possible between or among nations who are members.

World civilization is both tacit agreement and publicly declared agreement between nations, generally based upon various forms of intercourse between them.

The formalization of a structure is what scares one world government haters, because they feel that it will require giving up something they do not want to give up.

Thus, world civilization in general today is not completely unlike a group of warlords who have their own territories, which you better not enter without permission, or you can expect a fight of some sort.

There is a dichotomy involved in this situation, because homo sapiens do not have the power to overrule the government of the Earth or the cosmos, being limited instead, to obeying or disobeying that government.

It is debatable whether or not homo sapiens can govern ourselves in order to learn to obey the government of the Earth and the cosmos.

I guess the answer to that, like other issues, is blowing in the wind.

A visit to the Dubai, UAE site for a list of businesses of the world, who have presence there, will provide some evidence that the world is fully engaged in international commerce.

Some of that commerce is contrary to the national interests of the countries those companies call home.

Thus, the national interests of nations do not necessarily control the interests of corporations like British Petroleum, Halliburton, or AIG.

In fact the recent record shows that these companies often do great damage to nations.
