Right Wing Media Goes 9/11 Rogue

Many have been critical of the U.S. main stream media (MSM) for being afraid to report, in an unbiased manner, on what is called by many "the Truther movement".

We posted about the world press not having the same opinion as the U.S. press.

They have been respectfully reporting on the Truther movement instead of trashing them as the MSM in the U.S. has done.

Now there may be a crack in the groupspeak or newsspeak here in the U.S., because The Washington Times, said to be right leaning, has reported on national 9/11 news releases.

Their reporting is unbiased, just the facts ma'am, standard journalism:

A lingering technical question about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks still haunts some, and it has political implications: How did 200,000 tons of steel disintegrate and drop in 11 seconds? A thousand architects and engineers want to know, and are calling on Congress to order a new investigation into the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7 at the World Trade Center.

"In order to bring down this kind of mass in such a short period of time, the material must have been artificially, exploded outwards," says Richard Gage, a San Francisco architect and founder of the nonprofit Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth.

(The Washington Times). There was a national press release by Truthers a few days back, and the Times is one, and maybe the only one, of the larger papers to cover it.

It is also reported that The Jersey Girls have come out in open support for the Architects.

They are the ones who lost loved ones on 9/11 then petitioned for a long time against the Bush II regime's resistance to doing any 9/11 Commission investigation in the first place.

Fraud - A Staple of MOMCOM's Budget

We hear a lot of bloviating about fraud and abuse in social help programs such as Medicare or Medicaid.

The fraudsters there are said to rip off the system to the tune of as much as 20% of that portion of the budget.

Those fraudsters are pikers compared to the status quo fraud of the MOMCOM budget.

It is almost a staple, having been built in now for decade upon decade, admitted to during the Rumsfeld saga:

"According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions," Rumsfeld admitted.

$2.3 trillion — that's $8,000 for every man, woman and child in America. To understand how the Pentagon can lose track of trillions, consider the case of one military accountant who tried to find out what happened to a mere $300 million.

"We know it's gone. But we don't know what they spent it on," said Jim Minnery, Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

Minnery, a former Marine turned whistle-blower, is risking his job by speaking out for the first time about the millions he noticed were missing from one defense agency's balance sheets. Minnery tried to follow the money trail, even crisscrossing the country looking for records.

"The director looked at me and said 'Why do you care about this stuff?' It took me aback, you know? My supervisor asking me why I care about doing a good job," said Minnery.

He was reassigned and says officials then covered up the problem by just writing it off.

The next day auditors, who were searching for that "lost" money, lost the trail and lost their lives:

Most of those killed in the office, called Resource Services Washington, were civilian accountants, bookkeepers and budget analysts.

(South Coast Today). So much for the computers with the data, and the auditors who were destroyed the next day following Rumsfeld's revelation.

The MOMCOM portion of the federal budget increased this year, depending on who you listen to, up to about $708,000,000,000, with another $30,000,000,000 to be added to that for Afghanistan.

This year 25% fraud would be $738,000,000,000 * .25 = $184,500,000,000.

The 25% is the percentage Rumsfeld admitted to, so it is probably even more than that.

Health care and unemployment extensions being talked about would be totally covered easily each year with that amount.

But tradition, like Pentagon auditors, dies hard.

So I think all the talk about stopping fraud is just bloviating.

The staple of defrauding the Treasury will continue unabated unless the status quo really does change.

Silvio, Silver, & The Crystals of Mystery

The photo was taken in a cave in Mexico, where the largest crystals in the world, so far, were accidentally found in 2000. Three men are also visible in the photo at about 10 o'clock (one man), and at 4 o'clock (two men).

They are the reddish, small entities crawling around on the massive crystals, one of which appears to be about the size of the Washington Monument in D.C.

The owners of the silver mine are scheduled to let the cave fill back up with water, and we shall lose the crystals it seems.

One wonders why the government of Mexico does not turn this into a scientific and tourist sight for the benefit of humanity?

Could the crystals be a source for energy or power, how and when did they form, or are there more?

Like Silvio in the Bob Dylan song, don't these people realize that silver won't buy back the beat of a heart grown cold to the wonders of the planet?

Insurance Antitrust Enforcement Act

Dear [Dredd],

Last fall I wrote you about the sweetheart deal insurance companies have had since they were exempted from federal antitrust laws in 1945. Shielded from this scrutiny, the exemption has helped the insurance industry to put profits before people, cherry-pick customers, and deny coverage to patients when they fall ill.

They've had a great setup. Last year alone, the top five U.S. health care insurance companies made $12 billion in profits while dropping 2.7 million Americans from their insurance rolls.

Our voices broke through the health insurance lobbyists who seem to be everywhere you look around Washington these days, and TODAY the House of Representatives voted 406-19 to pass its version of the Health Insurance Industry Antitrust Enforcement Act.

Now it's up to the Senate to take up this bill and send it to President Obama's desk to be signed into law.

The health insurance industry should compete on a level playing field just like every other business in America, large and small, so that consumers know that the price they're being quoted is the product of a free and fair marketplace.

Like most Americans I'm frustrated with the slow pace of progress towards comprehensive health care reform, though I remain hopeful we'll get the sweeping reform we need soon.

But it is unclear whether or not the final health care reform bill Congress sends to the President's desk will include a provision to end the health insurance industry antitrust exemption. Even if it does, it could be severely weakened during the final round of negotiations in Congress.

That's why we must act now to pass the Health Insurance Industry Antitrust Enforcement Act as a standalone bill.

Ending the health insurance industry antitrust exemption will promote competition and consumer choice, though it is not the only reform we need. Katrina Karzai Conspiracy Theory

A police lieutenant has been charged with a conspiracy by a prosecuting attorney who believes in a conspiracy theory to cover up murder during Katrina.

The police lieutenant entered a guilty plea. So conspiracy theories are as serious as a heart attack still, and still as valid as apple pie and the flag.

Meanwhile a conspiracy theory a while back was directed at the president of Afghanistan, you know, the place we are bringing democracy, by going door to door and giving folks a big "hands up, welcome to democracy".

Some folks back home can't figure out why they are so nervous about our brand of democracy.

Anyway, Karzai was accused of conspiring to throw the last election, and everyone knows it was a conspiracy.

Obama scolded him and like Gilly on Saturday Night Live, he dutifully said "sorry" in a faint whisper.

Now he has taken over the Election Committee that accused him of the conspiracy and fraud, and has "solved the problem":

After his brazen bid to steal his re-election, Afghanistan’s president, Hamid Karzai, swore that he would do better — and the Obama administration swore it would ensure that he did. He hasn’t. It didn’t.

Mr. Karzai’s latest travesty: Issuing a presidential decree to take total control of the country’s electoral watchdog commission. Yes, that is the same commission that exposed widespread fraud in the 2009 vote.

(NY Times). There will be no more conspiracies now. Good, as long as there are no conspiracy theories, everything will be better.

Afghans will now benefit from democracy when we win their war.

What Is Really Crazy Is ...

When fear became the snake oil of MOMCOM, used in her revitalization campaign, she felt a surge of power like a heroin junkie evidently feels when the junkie "shoots up" (injects the narcotic).

The sale of fear, like selling toothpaste, is a mammoth campaign intended to deceive the public.

It worked to bring a surge of cash flow to MOMCOM by taking it away from the middle class and poor.

MOMCOM does it, not the old fashioned way of taxation, but with phoney finanical mechanisms of Wall Street, the federal and state banking systems, and control of the value and source of money.

That is why MOMCOM is always putting up a front, a disguise, always preaching "lower taxes", because fair taxation is how the more honest politicians think of raising money to pay for government debt.

That is how MOMCOM neutralizes the would-be honest politicians.

MOMCOM knows where the real money is, however, and MOMCOM's Dr. Jekyll can and does Hyde your money in so many ways.

Where did the value of your home go? Into a MOMCOM base somewhere in a foreign nation, where the kids of MOMCOM have learned the deceit game quite well.

Where did the value of your 401k, job, health care, and other financial assets go? Same place.

Another "bonus" to MOMCOM is that people only have the capacity for a certain quantity of fear.

MOMCOM has sent her kids to school to learn how to take care of her family.

Her kids have been taught the reality that once the public's capacity for fear is reached, things that should cause fear so as to then inspire a fix for the problem which is the source of the fear, is gone.

As a result of imposing phoney fear, the healthy fear which is good for individuals and society no longer has a place.

But the real dangers, reality if you will, remains:

Did you know that the Department of Homeland Security has identified over 6,000 “high-risk” chemical plants in the United States? An accident or attack at just 300 of them would put 110 million Americans at risk. That’s not only crazy, but also down right terrifying.

The risk of greatest concern is a massive poison gas release by accident or terrorism that could far surpass the casualties of 9/11.

(Greenpeace, emphasis added). Ok, lets back off a bit, if 300 chemical plants take out 110 million, then one chemical plant would take out on average about 367,000 Americans.

That is cause for healthy fear, but there doesn't seem to be any remaining.

Origin Of The "Liberal Media" Meme

Some scientists say that 98% of human thought is subconscious.

I guess they are saying that our minds have an automatic transmission, or that it is substantially "computer" controlled.

That seems, in some ways, to be scary, especially since many of our beliefs are subconsciously controlled if that is true.

For instance, you probably do not know that the "liberal media" meme originated with campaign advisers of Richard Nixon:

After the Goldwater defeat of 1964, conservatism was a dirty word and most Americans wanted to be liberals, especially working people, who were highly unionized. Lee Atwater and colleagues, working for the 1968 Nixon campaign, had a problem: How to get a significant number of working people to become conservative enough to vote for Nixon.

(Huffington Post, emphasis added). They decided to start a nuanced slander of the notion of "liberal" so as to cut it down to the lowly spot "conservative" had fallen to.

The goal was first to put "liberal" and "conservative" on an even footing by putting down the notion of "liberal":

They intuited what I have since called "biconceptualism" (see The Political Mind) -- the fact that many Americans have both conservative and progressive views, but in different contexts and on different issues. Mutual inhibition in brain circuitry means the strengthening of one weakens the other. They found a way to both strengthen conservative views and weaken liberal views, creating a conservative populism. Here's how they did it.

They realized that by the late 60's many working people were disturbed by the anti-war demonstrations; so Nixon ran on anti-communism. They noticed that many working men were upset by radical feminists. So they pushed traditional family values. And they realized that, after the civil rights legislation, many working men, especially in the South, were threatened by blacks. So they ran Nixon on law and order. At the same time, they created the concept of "the liberal elite" -- the tax and spend liberals, the liberal media, the Hollywood liberals, the limousine liberals, and so on. They created language for all these ideas and have been repeating it ever since.

(Id, emphasis added). It was pure propaganda, but it was based on a cunningly powerful understanding of real human reason.

Real human reason is always composed of emotion in part.

Real human reason is not fully liberal nor fully conservative.

Your emotions and how your mind is framed are subjects that are studied furiously so that you can be manipulated more effectively.

Who would have "thunk it" ... Nixon political operatives created the powerful false notion of the liberal media, and far too many Americans still believe that falsehood to this very day.

An Example of Democracy Shames U.S.

When the people rejected the wars, they voted the republicans out and became joyful. We were joyous because we thought that the Barak Obama campaign crew realized they had won in a rejection election, not in a personality contest.

Little did we know that the Obama campaign crew thought the personality of Obama carried the day.

They thought that personality would soothe the frustrations of the people over the economic military coup that was plundering the American people's Treasury under the Bush II regime.

However, when the victorious Obama campaign arrived in D.C. they were given a compass with a "W" on every point.

Soon they evidently forgot the electorate who had elected them, and set off in a "W" direction.

They betrayed the soul of the people, continued on in those elitist policies that were plundering the Treasury, finally morphing even more of our money into MOMCOM money.

That is not a democracy, it is a demockcrazy, because they mock us with sophistry.

In Holland that is not happening because they have at least a democracy or better.

When the people of Holland reject a war it also brings down the government like we did, however, they do not Dr. Jekyll and Hyde their people. Very much unlike US, they still have a system of accountability with a spirit of honesty toward the people:

Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende said Sunday Dutch troops will begin leaving southern Afghanistan in August, since his caretaker government has no authority to accept a NATO request to stay on.

Speaking a day after his coalition government collapsed over the issue, Balkenende said the Netherlands will end its role in Uruzgan province, where 21 Dutch soldiers have been killed since the mission was first deployed in 2006.

"Our task as the lead nation ends in August this year," he said on Dutch television.

A marathon cabinet meeting that broke up before dawn Saturday ended with the walkout of the second largest party in the government, Labor, which accused the dominant Christian Democratic Alliance of reneging on a 2007 agreement to bring the troops home this year.

(Huffington Post). Wow, it made me nostalgic to remember the beautiful America I once lived in, which had a government of, by, and for the people.

No wonder everyone has now gone off to look for America, but those who have that "W" compass will never get there.

Blind Men And The MOMCOM Elephant

We all remember the story of the blind men around the elephant in folklore.

They all had a different description of what it was they were touching and feeling, depending on their area of perspective.

The news media and our political leadership are like that:

Even as the American economy shows tentative signs of a rebound, the human toll of the recession continues to mount, with millions of Americans remaining out of work, out of savings and nearing the end of their unemployment benefits.

(NY Times, The New Poor). This "American economy" being talked about is the same one John McCain talked about circa September of 2008.

McCain spoke of it only a few days before the Treasury ran screaming to congress, emphatic that the economic sky was falling.

That episode scared the pants off congress, which gave rise to TARP bailouts of banks with your money.

McCain said the "American economy" was fundamentally sound, and he was right if you know what he was in reference to.

The MOMCOM elite have their "American economy"; the scraps they let trickle down from it is the economy of the people.

The Times article hints that they now want to call the economy of the people "the poor economy".

John McCain is right, the "American economy" of MOMCOM is doing quite well thank you, after all they are being paid the big bucks for two wars.

The big picture, if you put all the blind men's stories together, is that the U.S. economy has been taken over by an economic military coup which has the spirit of Napoleon:

I can no longer obey; I have tasted command, and I cannot give it up.

(Napoleon Bonaparte). The Treasury has been plundered as our 4th president, James Madison, forewarned, and as General and later President Eisenhower forewarned.

The main coup operation was propaganda based, telling you over and over 24/7 that you are in danger, be afraid, and give your dollars to MOMCOM and she will take care of you.

Eisenhower saw through it and described it as theft via extortion:

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone.

It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.
