The Light And The Law

There are two groups who have opposing views on light and the law of the speed of light.

Check out an interesting piece where exceeding the speed of light by six times is not considered to be violating current physics, nor the speed limit of light.

Are we deft if we see the obvious contradiction in that, or are we just not mathematical enough?

In the post The Memes of Penrose, we show that super scientists like him say that our science has gone the way of fantasy in substantial degrees.

9/11 Conspiracy Theorists Take A Hit - 6

David A. Johnson
Can you believe some of these conspiracy theorists?

They think that a fire brought down the THREE towers on 9/11.

HA!

The photo is of an internationally known professional who was watching the construction of the World Trade Center from day one:
David A. Johnson, B.Arch, MCP (City Planning), PhD (Regional Planning), F.AICP – Internationally recognized architect and city and regional planner. Professor Emeritus, Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Tennessee. Former Professor and Chair of the Planning Departments at Syracuse University and Ball State University. Elected Fellow, American Institute of Certified Planners (2004). Past President of the Fulbright Association of the United States. Recipient of five Fulbright Scholarships for continued education in Cyprus, India, Thailand, and the Soviet Union. Directed educational projects in Brazil and Portugal. Active in reconstruction efforts in Bosnia and bicommunal peace-making in Cyprus. Former professional planner on the staffs of the Washington National Capital Planning Commission and the Regional Plan Association of New York. Former editorial board member of the Journal of the American Planning Association. Author of numerous journal articles on urban and regional planning theory and history. Author of Planning the Great Metropolis (1996). Co-author of The TVA Regional Planning and Development Program (2005). Contributing author to Two Centuries of American Planning (1988).
(Mr. David Johnson). There are millions of Americans who agree with him when he says:
"I was dubious of the official explanations from the outset. You see, as a professional city planner in New York, I knew those buildings and their design. I attended and participated in the hearings at the New York City Hall when the buildings were first proposed. I argued for the buildings on the basis that the interior core represented a way of internalizing the cost of mass transit, which in our system is almost impossible to finance through public bond issues.

So I was well aware of the strength of the core with its steel columns, surrounding the elevators, and stairwells. I should also mention that with a degree in architecture and instruction in steel design (my Yale professor had worked on the Empire State Building) I was and am no novice in structural design.

When I saw the rapid collapse of the towers, I knew that they could not come down the way they did without explosives and the severing of core columns at the base. The spewing of debris from the towers where the planes entered also could not have occurred simply with just a structural collapse. Something else was happening to make this occur.

Moreover, the symmetrical collapse is strong evidence of a controlled demolition. A building falling from asymmetrical structural failure would not collapse so neatly, nor so rapidly, as you have pointed out.

What we are faced with is a lie of such proportions that even to suggest it makes one subject to ridicule and scorn. Who could have done such a terrible thing? Certainly not our government or military. Rogue elements in the intelligence agencies? I have no idea.

But I do know that the official explanation doesn't hold water. An open, honest re-opening of the case is in order. A near majority of Americans agrees with this view. Let us keep pressing for an honest investigation."
(D.A. Johnson Comments). The two top commissioners say this in their book:
Fog of war could explain why some people were confused on the day of 9/11, but it could not explain why all of the after-action reports, accident investigations and public testimony by FAA and NORAD officials advanced an account of 9/11 that was untrue ...
(SFgate, CBS NEWS, emphasis added). The official who actually wrote the 9\11 report no longer believes it was truthful enough:
At some level of government,” says Dean Farmer, “at some point in time, a decision was made not to tell the truth about the national response to the attacks on the morning of 9/11. We owe the truth to the families of the victims of 9/11. We owe it to the American public as well, because only by understanding what has gone wrong in the past can we assure our nation’s safety in the future.”
(Ground Truth, John Farmer, emphasis added). The U.S. main stream media owned by large military connected corporations let the people be lied to and swallowed the erroneous commission report whole without even chewing it.

NOTE TO U.S. Main Stream Journalists: you still believe the old official conspiracy theory because your system of being informed is known as the deceit business, and it works quite well to feed you all the pabulum you need to stay in your comfort zone.

But like a person freezing to death who takes off his clothes in the final delusional effort "to stay warm", you ain't got game.

Get a little Canadian in your fear filled hearts U.S. MSM.

If you want to know why the MSM is chicken hearted and cannot say that the government's 9/11 story is in fact one conspiracy theory ("bad guys conspired to do thus and such"), read this firestorm of an article that has caused a "bigga badda boom" in blogdom.

The San Francisco Chronicle has scrubbed its article linked to in this post above. I wrote the webmaster to ask that they be reinstated.

The Wikipedia article has also suffered a broken link (since the Chronicle scrubbed its site) since I posted this post, most likely by a government agent if their past history is any indicator.

So, I added the CBS News links to the quote above.

A link to a St. Louis newspaper also has this:
John Farmer served as senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission. Early in "The Ground Truth," his examination of the terrorist attacks, he writes that the commission "discovered that what had occurred that morning — that is, what government and military officials had told Congress, the Commission, the media, and the public about who knew what when — was almost entirely, and inexplicably, untrue."

He continues: "At some level of the government, at some point in time … there was a decision not to tell the truth about what happened."
(St. Louis Today). I will try to find the articles the San Francisco scrubbed, and re link to it.

The Chamber of Corruption

The spirit of deceit that has governed corporations in the U.S. for so many years is no secret to some academics:
"One of the most important comments on deceit, I think, was made by Adam Smith. He pointed out that a major goal of business is to deceive and oppress the public.

And one of the striking features of the modern period is the institutionalization of that process, so that we now have huge industries deceiving the public — and they're very conscious about it, the public relations industry. Interestingly, this developed in the freest countries—in Britain and the US — roughly around time of WWI, when it was recognized that enough freedom had been won that people could no longer be controlled by force. So modes of deception and manipulation had to be developed in order to keep them under control"
(The Deceit Business). By now being deceived by government and corporations through the mainstream media and the publishing world is solidly ingrained in U.S. culture.

Everyone knows what "spin" is, not enough know what reality is.

This has been emphasized and made visible to anyone who wants to see.

As an example consider The United States Chamber of Commerce:
This week, National Journal reported that the health insurance lobby funneled tens of millions of dollars to the Chamber of Commerce to fund an ad campaign attacking heath-care reform. The Chamber essentially acted as a pass-through, allowing the health insurers to avoid having their names tied to the campaign.

The story understandably generated outrage -- with health-care reform advocates now demanding hearings. But it looks like the pass-through tactic is nothing new. In fact, it's a technique the Chamber has been pioneering for almost a decade.
(TPM). A $10,000,000.00 campaign to stop health care for Americans who need it, conducted by a propagandized "United States" entity that is supposed to help commerce.

But is now bent on stealth and deceit instead?

The origin of the propaganda content of media is the military media oil complex controlled through massive corporate empires like General Electric, who make vast stores of weapons and who own large media empires:
The Bush administration turned the U.S. military into a global propaganda machine while imposing tough restrictions on journalists seeking to give the public truthful reports about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Associated Press chief executive Tom Curley said Friday.

Curley, speaking to journalists at the University of Kansas, said the news industry must immediately negotiate a new set of rules for covering war because "we are the only force out there to keep the government in check and to hold it accountable."
(Warriors Press For Propaganda, emphasis added). The news beat goes on with its duty to beat down the people until wee are the people.

Banker Jekyll Will Hyde Your Money - 4

The battle goes on concerning The Fed refusing to tell us where it spent our tax dollars during the bail out flurry which caused public outcry and anger. We have done a series of posts on the events which are centered now on a lawsuit that has made its way in to the federal appellate court.

The Fed is arguing the chicken little "the sky will fall in on all of us" if the public finds out what we did with their money:
Banks and the Fed warn that bailed-out lenders may be hurt if the documents are made public, causing a run or a sell-off by investors. Disclosure may hamstring the Fed’s ability to deal with another crisis, they also argued.
(Bloomberg). As pointed out in previous articles, so far the federal courts have not bought into the chicken-little thingy, so they have ordered The Fed to disclose what it did.

Stay tuned ("The Fed" lost their appeal, Bloomberg's FOIA request was upheld).

Clean Air Under Attack

Dear Friend,

It's an outrage. 2010 should start in a way that reflects our movement's amazing accomplishments from last year -- moving the ball forward to passage of comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation. Instead, our elected leaders are proposing policies that would set us back decades and let the worst polluters completely off the hook.

Despite the chorus of alarm bells sounding the need to address the climate crisis and stop polluting the air our families breathe and the water we drink, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski and her allies are attacking the Clean Air Act -- for the second time in six months.

And it gets worse. Last night, news broke that the original version of the amendment was literally drafted with lobbyists for the oil and coal industry.*

We can't let this attack succeed. Write your Senators right now and tell them to vote NO on Senator Murkowski's proposal.

Take Action

We defeated this same effort once already, just six months ago -- but the fossil fuel lobby is at it again. The amendment would strip the Environmental Protection Agency of its ability to regulate most carbon pollution, letting the worst polluters completely off the hook.

Efforts like this are designed to do one thing and one thing only -- slow our transition to a clean energy economy that will create millions of new jobs, reduce our dependence on foreign oil and solve the climate crisis.

Help flood your Senators with messages to vote NO on this attack on the Clean Air Act.

The very last thing we should do in the fight to end the climate crisis is throw away tools that we already know are effective at reducing pollution. But that's exactly what Senator Murkowski's proposal does.

For decades, the Clean Air Act has kept millions of tons of pollutants out of our air and water. Senator Murkowski's proposal would create an Alaska-sized loophole in the Clean Air Act, giving a pass to the biggest carbon polluters.

Email your Senators now and tell them to vote NO on Senator Murkowski's amendment -- and protect our air, water and climate:

http://cpaf.repoweramerica.org/cleanair

In 2010, our movement to solve the climate crisis will face its biggest test yet -- passing comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation. But if Senator Murkowski's amendment passes, some in Congress will use it as an excuse to keep stalling -- and the long overdue promise of progress toward a 21st century clean energy economy will be lost.

You helped stop this toxic amendment once before. Together, we can and must stop it again.

Thank you,

Al Gore

Just Another Day For A War Dream?

The press in Britain is aware of the "race" between the west and the east, and that one of the players in the east took over first place in the export competition in 2009.

First place has gone back and forth between the west and east over the past years.

But the British press is not calling it sporty competition, they are calling it "war":
The global economy now badly needs an over-arching "trade round" – a worldwide deal to boost international commerce, while keeping protectionism in check. After all, it was the rash of tariffs and quotas imposed in the aftermath of the 1929 Wall Street crash that put the "Great" in the "Great Depression". While economically disastrous, provoked the mutual loathing and extremism that sparked the Second World War.

Even such obvious lessons from history are lost on today's politicians. As the realities of recession bite and unemployment rises, our so-called leaders reach for the protectionist comfort blanket, telling voters that shutting out the world "saves jobs".

Over the last year, the US – the global "free-trade champion" – has imposed 46 separate protectionist measures on goods and services crossing its borders. The EU, disgracefully, has implemented 90. The likes of China and India have retaliated, introducing 51 and 29 new anti-trade measures respectively. Little wonder that world trade volumes remain 13pc [13%] below their pre-sub-prime peak.
(We Are At Risk Of A Trade War, Telegraph, emphasis added). If that is not enough to perk your ears up, note that the politicians spoken of do not realize that now is not then in terms of what world civilization faces.

Trade is only the tip of the iceberg, the shadow of time governs the earth, because we also have a global energy crisis, a global climate crisis, and a global overpopulation crisis to add to the mix.

The propaganda of the U.S. inflating "the war on terror" as the top selling brand takes away from dealing with the complete picture of the problem.

The politicians the British press was talking about had better get their heads out of their arse otherwise this will turn into blood sport of the kind where the earth is "at war" with humanity while humanity is "at war" with itself.

It is time for some cosmic adults to evolve out of this primal ooze.

Clash of the Titans of Export

Unobtainium
I pointed out a while back that just one state of The United States of Europe was a larger exporter than the U.S. or China.

Also I pointed out that the pacific was the place to watch in terms of economic power.

There is a report today which indicates that China overtook Germany as the number one exporter, but, lest the record become too contorted, let us not forget that The United States of Europe is composed of 26 nations; Germany being only one of them.

Nevertheless, this shows that Europe was hurt more by the U.S. financial debacle than China was. Nevertheless, the story here today for us is that the U.S. remains third.

The conservative decade of Bush II with all its free market rhetoric and economic self righteousness brought us from first to third in a heart beat, relatively speaking.

The conservatives are incompetent at economy and governance. They talk like con men, being all neoCon and all. Mavericky and rogue is just another silly, stupid, and dangerous fantasy. Exporting war impoverishes the many while concentrating booty with a few families.

The other part of the story is that neither Europe nor China have been at war on two fronts for a decade. The U.S. has.

Why isn't war and bad economy linked together in the military media oil complex version of reality?
